The next day...

The day was bustling, and I was at work, focused on analyzing some documents when the phone rang. It was the school principal informing me that Hope was feeling unwell with a fever. Immediate concern took over me. I called the nanny, Isabella, and asked her to pick her up and take care of her until I got home.

Some time later, I received another call from Isabella. Hope wanted to have ice cream to cheer up, and the nanny suggested taking her to the square. I was a bit hesitant, after all, she wasn't feeling well. However, thinking about the joy that ice cream could bring her, I ended up agreeing.

At the end of the workday, I picked up Peter and Caroline from school and went straight home. Upon entering, I noticed that the house was too quiet. I found it strange not to find Isabella and Hope.

"Isabela, Hope?" I called, but received no response. I started to worry. Maybe they were still in the square, I thought.

I went to the kitchen, put a bag with some toys fo

A sense of triumph filled me, and I inquired with the beta about the condition of the boy."He's in the room. We gave him medicine to sleep. The boy is strong and healthy," reported the beta, conveying the good news.A subtle smile curved my lips. "When he wakes up, I want to see him. Make sure he has everything he needs."The beta nodded, setting off to fulfill my orders while I decided to take advantage of the night for a hunt in my wolf form. The argument with the Supreme Alpha still echoed in my mind, a storm of emotions that I struggled to contain. I was greeted by Johanna, who, despite her advanced age, radiated wisdom that only time could bestow. She smiled upon seeing me, leaning on a cane, and said sincerely, "It's good to see that you're alive, Lily."A comforting warmth enveloped me as Johanna hugged me with the strength that only a true friend could provide. I looked into her eyes and confessed, "I missed you so much. Within this pack, you were the only person who genuinely cared about me."The words had barely left my mouth when a wave of emotion hit me. Pov Supreme AlphaThe blinding light gradually dissipated, and my eyes adjusted to the new reality unfolding. I was no longer in the forest or in the pack's meeting room. The ground was cold and damp, covered by a thin layer of water reflecting the light from a mysterious source. The surrounding environment was a profound darkness, as if I were in a different celestial plane. In front of me, an ethereal figure emerged from the shadows. A woman with long white hair that seemed made of light itself. Her eyes gleamed like distant stars, and her presence exuded an aura of transcendental power."Finally, we meet again, Supreme Alpha," she said, her voice echoing softly in the space. Her expression was serene, but there was an ancient wisdom in her gaze.Faced with this supernatural vision, my mind was still processing the understanding that I stood before the Moon Goddess herself. A deity revered by werewolves throughout the ages. The respect and reverence I felt at that moment were as int

I knew I had no right to ask for forgiveness, but hope still shimmered in my eyes as I held her hand. However, her refusal to let me touch her was a painful reminder of the depth of the wounds I had caused."I know I have no right to ask this of you, but could you forgive me for my mistakes?" My words came out as a whisper, carrying the burden of my own guilt. Her response was harsh, with no room for mercy. "No!" she said, rejecting my touch, as if mere proximity were unbearable. "I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll ever be able to forgive all the wrongs you've done to me. Leaving me pregnant, alone, and disoriented. When I had my first transformation, my wolf revealed that you were my predestined mate. The moment I found that out, I wanted to cry. Carefully, she helped put the ornaments on my head, along with the crown. As I faced my reflection in the mirror, an involuntary smile appeared on my face. Turning around, I asked, "So, how do I look?" Mia lovingly replied that I looked stunning as a bride, but my mother was still the most beautiful of all. We both laughed and agreed.Expressing my happiness for my mother's union after so many years, Mia comforted me, saying, "I can't imagine her wolf's silent suffering all these years. She did this for you, Hope!" Mia placed her hand on my shoulder, and with that, we headed to the courtyard.Upon entering the courtyard, I spotted my father and Noah. I looked to the side and saw my mother dressed as a bride. Lily whispered softly in my ear, "You're the most beautiful bride here." I smiled, eyes welling up, and offered my hand t

The light revealed a dark and unfamiliar environment, a cold and oppressive cell.A sinister smile emerged in the dimness as my beta, someone I had trusted for years, appeared before me. "Don't bother moving; these chains are made of pure iron. Every attempt to free yourself will burn your skin," he whispered, laughing between his teeth.Impatiently, I growled and angrily asked what he had done. "Where are Hope and Lily? Why are you doing this?" My voice echoed in the dark cell.He mockingly laughed before responding, "I thought I would get rid of that brat during the competition, but she proved herself. I tried to kill her, but now that you're weak in my hands, killing her will be easy. You were the main obstacle." He shrugged as if it were something trivial. My patience reached its limit. I huffed indignantly; we had already distanced ourselves enough from the confrontation, and my tantrum was pointless now.Once inside, my mother ran towards me to give me a hug, thanking Noah for bringing me back."Hope, my daughter, I was so worried. Why did you run away without telling anyone? You're the alpha's daughter; someone could have tried to kidnap you to blackmail your father. Is she okay?" she inquired, concerned. Before I could answer, the door opened, and Hope entered, supporting Noah, who coughed due to smoke exposure. Lily raised an eyebrow, clearly perplexed."Why did you bring this boy back?" she questioned, with a firm tone.I took a deep breath, facing Lily. "He is Hope's fated mate.
