I could barely see where I was going as the headache seemed to be growing. I could feel the sides of my head hitting like stones tumbling against each other. I pushed the door open, not minding if it breaks or anything, right now I just needed a drug to calm this hell shit down. I dizzily walk to the sofa, throwing myself against it. The next thing, I was hearing voices and calling for help from my maids who had already surrounded me. Suddenly, I couldn't hear anything. Their voices began to fade, I felt like the world was coming to an end, or maybe it was my life that was coming to an end. And everything went black. IN SONIA'S HEAD (WRITER ?) " We have a problem, Sir." Announced his guard who just walked in. He knelt with one foot, his hand resting on the other. " What problem is it? " He asked. " It's the girl. The human girl." Replied the guard. Sonia sluggishly opened her eyes to see herself in a dark environment. The light which illuminated the house was from the
WRITER ? She quickly rushed to the car, starting the engine but it refused to respond. She tried it again and again and the shit wasn't responding. She looked back to see the storm at great speed approaching towards her direction. "Fu*king start, asshole!" She cursed, hitting her fist hard on the steering wheel. " Start!" And the car started. She pushed the gear at five, matching on the acceleration paddle and at great speed she zoomed off from the hill top but the wind still came after her. " What do you want from me?!" She cried. " Why do you come after me?" She looked through the rear view mirror to see if the storm was coming closer. It was only a few miles to her, Sonia made a left turn. She decided to call Luci. One hand held the steering wheel while the other searched for her phone in her bag. Out of fear and tension, she couldn't find her phone. And again, her eyes went to the rearview mirror to see the storm wind was now close to her car. It hits her car, cau
Cynthia finally came to visit her. She was ready to talk about her previous conversation with Sonia, but this time, she wanted it face to face. She messaged Cynthia for them to meet at a coffee shop. AT THE COFFEE SHOP** "So, I wanna get something straight about what you told me, you mean the Master did show you to hell?" Cynthia asked, surprised. " Yes, he did and I don't know why. " Cynthia sighed. " How does it look like again?" She asked. " I mean hell." " Well, it looks more beautiful than you can ever imagine. You know I've always thought hell is like a burning furnace, you know, just like the church always calls it. But what I saw was totally different from what I thought. " She sipped on her coffee. " It's still surprising that he'd come for you after so many days of making his bargain. I really pity Luci, after everything he's done for you and the moments you two shared, it's gonna be tough to let go." "That's what keeps bothering me. I don't wanna imagine ho
"Miss Sotomayor, you are pregnant." My eyes flew open as my head was still trying to analyze the statement. "Congratulations." He said. I remembered the day Luci and I had our first... S*X. I can't believe I was seeing the real effect now. So... I am pregnant? I am carrying Luci's baby? I scoffed, chuckling as I rubbed my hands on my stomach. I chuckled again. "Luci, I'm carrying our child. . . your child? You just don't know how happy I am right now." I said as if he was standing right with me. I'm carrying his child. And it's so unfair to let our child grow to become fatherless all because of the master. I sighed. "So," I started, staring at the Doctor. "What do you think about the symptoms and my child? Will I lose my baby if it gets worse?" I asked. "Of course not. The symptoms have nothing to do with your child, it's just a natural sign, that's all. Don't get too scared about it, okay?" It reassured me. " But at least I'll need some drugs to calm the headache down, r
She jerked up. "No. Luci!" She moved her gaze to him. Luci was reading the morning newspaper when she woke up. He moves the newspaper down, looking at her. "You're awake." He said. Sonia gasped. "Oh, Luci." She bursted into tears. Luci drops the newspaper on the glass table, rushing to her. "Hey. Hey, what's wrong?" He asked, but Sonia was still busy in tears. "Babe, talk to me, what's the problem?" "I thought you were dead, I thought he took you away from me?" She said in tears. "Who?" "The devil. I woke up in the night and when I turned to look at your face, you were gone. I couldn't find you coupled with the fact that every where was closed and he was standing right here," she points to the place he stood. "I thought he took you." He pulls her in his arms, hugging her. "Remember when I once told you, no one is taking you away from me. It doesn't matter what or who it is, I will always be by your side." He assured her. She nods her head, sniffing on his chest. "I
Sonia was dumbfounded since Mrs Wilt left, she has refused to talk to her parents. Plus the fact that her mother thinks she's having a loss of memory. This was just some thing new to her ears. She knew what she saw, she knew what she read. How come? She drove to the park avenue to think and clear her head. If there was no Cordelia, then who did she see in the message? Whose picture was that? "What's happening to me?" She asked herself. "Why would I do such a thing to John? Could that be I was the one who cheated the both of us? Damn! What was I thinking? What came over me to act so stupid and senseless?"she slapped my forehead. "God damnit, Sonia, you need a miracle." But that doesn't matter any more, by next week he'll be getting married. She returned home so late. She had taken herself out for fun and to eat some thing new since the doctor had instructed her to eat much of a balanced diet. Luci entertained himself with the movie that was playing on the TV screen. He turne
Sonia woke up feeling rather healthy and strong. She yawned heavily, stretching her both arms. She felt her stomach was a bit heavy for her. She looked at it, shocked to see her stomach was looking like that of a two months old pregnancy. She woke Luci up. "What?" He asked, sleepily. "Babe, wake up. Wake up. I don't know how but my stomach looks bigger than yesterday." She said, terrified. "Babies grow, Sonia, your's just grew." "Can you just wake up and see what I'm talking about?" She raised her voice at him. Luci turned his face to her. He looked at her stomach and saw that it had actually grown bigger than he thought. He sat up, looking surprised. "Is this the normal way it happens?" He asked. "No. I mean, it never happens like this. This is looking much like a two months pregnancy and I'm barely three weeks pregnant. This is crazy and abnormal." "I think you should meet your doctor." She calmed down. "Yeah, I think so." She sighed. "He's gonna freak out when he
“I'm leaving but I'll be back soon. I want to prepare my home for your return. My home and family will be happy to see you.” Those were the last words of Luci before he left a month ago. Sonia was so happy at the words, if only she had understood what those words meant. . . She was so excited that he was leaving to make his home for her return and inform his parents about her. He told her not to inform anyone yet until her pregnancy was almost due. A time when she can no longer hide her pregnancy from every one. * THREE MONTHS LATER*** (SONIA ?) * I sat on the single sofa, groaning from the pains of my stomach. The baby was kicking and playing excitedly, I could feel his happiness as he jubilated in my belly. He was excited as I am. Luci would be returning soon, and each time he calls he always asks for our baby. I just can't wait to have him back. "Daddy will be back soon," I said, rubbing my belly. I always say that to him every minute of the day, and each tim
Allison woke up, disappointed to see that meeting Dorcas is a dream. She felt sad and she wanted to meet with him in reality, but then she remembered what his mother told him concerning their meeting. They have to be patient for a little while until they meet. But the question is. . . How long do they have to wait for the right time? Allison went to the kitchen, luckily, she met her mother. Cynthia was fully dressed and ready to go to work, when Allison showed up. "Good morning, mom." Allison greeted her. "Morning, sweetheart. How was your night?" She asked. "Fantastic." Allison said, happily. "I can tell from the look on your face. Tell me, what made your night fantastic?" She asked. "I had the best dream ever last night and guess what it is?" "You met with your brother?" She guessed right. "Exactly. I saw both him and aunty Sonia, they both looked good together." On hearing Sonia's name, Cynthia hopes were high, indeed her sister was safe and sound in her new h
ALLISON ? * I was surprised to hear that. Mother never told me this for once all those years I kept asking her, but all of a sudden she is telling me now. Could that mean...? *Could that be mother knows some thing that I don't?* I thought to myself as I stared at her. "Do you know some thing about this mark, mother?" I asked. "Allison. . ." She tried to give her usual excuses but this time I wasn't interested in listening to any of them. "Mother, if there is any thing that has to do with this scar then I have every right to know. Why will you keep hiding the truth away from me? This is my scar, mother, I should know why I have it in the first place. Please tell me, tell me what it means." I pleaded. I could sense she wasn't ready to tell me what's behind the scar but I was determined to know. "The scar signifies the bind you share with the one who also bears the scar. It connects the both of you together, sharing your pains and emotions together. It was given to you b
20 YEARS LATER*** * "Mom?" Allison called from the sitting room as soon as she walked in. "Mom?! I'm back!" "I'm here!" Cynthia said from the kitchen. She went to the kitchen. "Afternoon mom." Allison greeted, pecking her mother's cheek. "Afternoon, sweetheart, how was school today?" She asked, chopping on the green beans. "It was fine mom. What are you cooking?" She asked. "Fried rice, hope you'll love it?" "Dad's favorite? Come on, mom, I love fried rice." She said in a delicious manner. "Why don't you take a shower and get some rest too, I'll call you when it's time for dinner." "Okay." She left for her room. Allison was done with the shower, she stepped out to change into her house wear. She felt a pain on her forehead at the position of the scar, it felt like a burning pain. She groaned, rubbing it gently. "Aahh! Fu*k" she cursed. "When will you learn to be merciful?" The pain seems to be increasing gradually. She didn't want to scream to avoid causing a
Dorcas woke up the following morning, feeling excited. He was damn so happy that he had the chance to see his cousin sister. Now that he has passed his scar to her, he can feel her even without visiting earth. "I saw her, I saw my sister." He said to Sonia who was likewise happy for him. "She looks beautiful." "It's your duty to protect and to take good care of her." "I will, mother." "Good. Have you eaten some thing yet?" She asked. "Not yet." He replied. "I was too excited so I said let me share my happiness with you." "You did the right thing. Now go get some thing to eat or else you grow thin and weak to protect your sister." She teased him. "I will never let a finger touch her hair, I swear." He was determined, and likewise confident in his word. **** Back to Jessica, Dorcas came to realize that he was missing some one. Before he could get to his room, she has already dressed it properly with his food on his table. He was done eating and he decided to take a
Dorcas was as still as a deep corpse, dreaming into the world Luci had created. He found himself standing in front of a brown door late in the night. The environment was a lot different from that of the underworld, leaving him to assume where he was. He offered a knock on the door but there came no reply from the inside. Then he held the door knob, using his mind, he opened the door under his control. He shuts the door close, making his way in. He looked around the building, and he saw directions which led to many rooms. Then he saw the staircase and he decided to follow it to the upper apartment. He made a stop at the last step, glaring around the rooms. He decided to think, to connect his mind with any living creature in the house. He felt his mind was linked to some one. Some one little and young. Her brain was empty and had no thoughts in it. He followed the direction which led to where the infant laid. He opened the door and he made his way in. He looked at the two cou
Sonia noticed how silent Dorcas had become, she looked at him and she noticed he was deep in thought. "Dorcas?" She called. "Dorcas?" She called again, flicking her fingers at him. He blinked, moving his gaze at her. "Yes?" He answered. "You look lost." She said, "What were you thinking?" She asked. Dorcas thought of what to say and avoided his mother from finding out about the maid. Thankfully, she isn't a demon who can read minds. "Nothing." He lied. "Nothing?" She repeated. "But you looked lost for nothing." "I was thinking. . ." "Thinking about what?" She asked sharply. "A woman? Have you found one already? Are you in love?" She asked inquisitively. She remembered back then when she first met Luci, how he took charge of her conscience and she has never thought straight without him getting involved. He was the only one who made her lost in the Pacific, imagining events that happened and are yet to happen. She believes the only reason why one has to think too fa
Jessica walked into the room with a tray which contained Dorca's breakfast. He was still asleep when she walked in. She dropped the tray on the table, then she went to shift the curtains aside. Quietly, began to arrange the room, not causing a noise to wake the young prince up. After she was done dressing the room, she went to wake him up. "Your highness?" She called. "Your highness, it's morning already." She said but he didn't wake up. So she decided to tap him instead. "Your highness? Your. . ." He grabbed her by the hand, causing her to shiver. She stiffened at his hold and he drew her closer to himself, their face close enough for a kiss. He smiled at how scared she was. "I'm awake." He said. He let go of her and she pulled away immediately. She was scared to have any thing to do with him, scared for so many reasons. She was scared of getting punished by the king and queen if they find out that she is so close to him. And she is only trying to save her life, besides, s
1 YEAR LATER*** * Dorcas has fully grown to a teenager, looking almost like in his early twenties. He is tall, fair skinned with dark black hair like his father. His deep sea blue eyes reflect that of Luci, and Sonia calls it the sexiest eyes she has ever seen. He has those long white teeth with pink lips which are so irresistible especially when he smiles. He has long fingers which almost look like those artificial nails women use on earth. He is just a perfect definition of what he is. Dorcas has been reading since morning, Sonia didn't want him doing any thing aside from that. He's been spending most of his time on irrelevant things but today, she had him under her custody and there was no escaping this time. Since Luci told her of his future, that was a year ago, she's been securing it and making sure he never deviates from his future or else he will end up damaging it. "I'm done reading, mom." He said, folding the scroll back. "So soon." She said, not quite surpris
"Now that he has grown, why don't we give him a separate room to stay?" She suggested. "I already have one prepared for him. Starting tonight, we'll have him sleep in his new room." Luci was so sweet at doing things ahead of time and that's what makes Sonia keep loving him the most. She never expected to hear him say that, but she was happy and ready to present the new room to Dorcas by herself. She went to confront Dorcas who sat on the same spot as she left. She walked to his front, squatting before him. "Hey." Dorcas looked away from her gaze, staring in a different direction. Sonia held his cheek, turning his gaze back to her. "Hey." She waved a smile on her face. "I wanna show you some thing, but that's only on one condition." Dorcas was looking at her but didn't give a reaction. "It's a surprise, a big one. Don't you wanna see it?" She asked him. He nodded his head. "But like I said, it's only on one condition. Do you wanna know the condition?" She asked again.
