Never alone

The next day felt like a delight. I woke up having to feel butterflies inside of my stomach, the joyous expression on my face and behaviour was so evident that Sara and my grandma had a lot of questions..

"Munory, did something good happen last night?" Grandma asked me and I know that she was referring to my conversation with Kiki.

"Nothing, happened". I sat down for breakfast and shortly after Kiki came downstairs. I thought she was going to join us at the table, however, she had an appointment that needed her attention.

Grandma wanted me to accompany her but she preferred to go alone which to me was suspicious..

I acted not to notice but deep down, I was dying to walk her to the door. I had nothing to do and so I decided to make a phonecall to her, Kiki's phone rang but she didn't pick up, I called the second time and when she had refused to pick up, I stoped myself from calling again..
