Blind night

Sara came to the room and asked for my assistance, she wanted me to go down to the outhouse and bring in some of the golden tablecloths, saying she had a lot of things to do from the kitchen.

I wasn't doing anything in the kitchen so I agreed to help her, I went to the outhouse and then brought out the clothes from the bags it was in, I came back with them and then dropped them on the ground

"Hey! Is there anything you need?".

I asked Sara.

She was quite busy preparing dinner and didn't quite listen to me.

"No! I'm good. She waited for some time and then responded.

I was just about to turn and leave when my Mother-in-law walked in front of me.

Her eyes beamed like a glorious chicken, waiting to be sacrificed.

"Good evening Muna? I can see you're here?". She said to me, her response was cold and somehow suspicious.

"Yeah! Do you perhaps need some help?". U volunteered to assist in any way she wanted.

"No! Go upstairs to your room and rest,".

Her response came as a surprise to me.
