Food arrived.

Lev observed her plate waiting for her to finish the beef. As soon as she emptied the side dish, he offered hers by placing it on her table and said, "Have more."

She paused, flashing enragement directly at that piece of piece.

Leonid saw him pick up his piece of beef and extend his arms to put it on her plate.

In a flash of light, he received hostility from Elvira's deadliest stare. He startled, and the beef slipped accidentally on her plate.

Sensing that would boil her anger more, he took back his beef abruptly, excusing, "Sorry, I slipped mine."

She appeared to forgive Leonid, but her intense glare was on the piece of beef that Lev offered her. She continued being like that purposely and avoided eating further.

Leonid acknowledged that. So he eyed Lev lip-syncing, "Take back yours; otherwise, she won't eat."

"What?" Lev was clueless.

"Took back!" Leonid eyes him again.

Lev found Elvira paused eating, and he realised it was because of his beef. So he took back his sayi
