ZEIAH || CAPITULO TRES: ZEIAH'S NIGHTMARE

-20 YEARS LATER-

ZEIAH

"MAMAAAA!" I shouted while trembling with so much fear. A monstrous creature is currently holding me, and I haven't seen it in my whole life. He is holding me tightly, gripping his arms around my neck so that I can barely breathe.

" Let go of my daughter Serge or else!" my Mom shouted with intensifying fury to the man that grips on my neck. I never saw my Mom in outrage until this day. She's so different. It seems like she's not an ordinary person.

" Or else what my sweet Thea?" the man retorted to my Mom, smiling devilishly.

Mom's breathing became heavy, ready to make an attack.

" Are you sure you want to do that?" the man said annoyingly to my Mom while pointing his sharp dagger directly into my neck. I felt the tip of the sharped object right into my skin.

That scared me a lot as tears came out of my eyes. "Ma-maa..." I said in between my sob. Right after that, I saw Mom's worried face. Mom's reaction switched from being angry to worried one. Then, she let out a deep heavy breath. Standing straight, my Mom let go of her samurai and surrendered.

" I know you won't do it as you need my daughter alive but I'm begging you, Serge, don't get involve my daughter here." My Mom calmly said in defeat, pleading for my life.

"And now you are talking... I kinda like that." the man replied, painting an evil smile on his face victoriously because he put my Mom into a position where she was so helpless as he got me as his hostage. I hated it! But I can't do anything about it.

" I certainly know what you are up to Serge but please I'm begging you to stop this and for once do the right thing! "My Mom replied, " What you are trying to do won't do anything good in all of us-- alam na alam mo iyon Serge!"

" Tsk tsk tsk...drop the convincing effort, my sweet Thea, because that won't change anything!" The man shouted with anger at his words. "We all know that this beautiful daughter of yours will make us undisputable and victorious!" The man uttered.

I don't understand what they are talking is all about. This man is insane!

I saw Mom clench her jaw. She heaved a heavy breath while the man continued to talk like a mad man, " And yeah, you are right... I won't hurt her I can promise you that as we badly need her to make our plans victorious but..." the man paused for a moment, all of sudden I feel a tingling pain getting intensified where the tip of the dagger honing in.

I visibly feel the unpleasant sensation stinging in my neck and a small drop of blood gushing from my neck.

" Ahhhhh...Mama..." I cried and looked at my Mom. "Let go of me!" I shouted while struggling, begging the man who made me his captive.

"HEY--wake up! Wake up!" I heard someone waking me up. It was full of worry. I managed to open my eyes, but everything was blurred. I closed my eyes again, opened them for the second time then an unfamiliar face was looking at me so keenly and worried?

"You must be having a nightmare... are you okay now?" He asked. His husky voice was warm and gentle that, for some reason, it gave me the feeling of being safe.

I pushed myself to get up to see the man beside me. "Hey, hold on Miss, you're still weak. " The man told me with a warning. When everything became clear, I saw the man's face. Suddenly I felt inside me get excited that I could not explain why.

I managed to sit down and sat up neatly, with my back leaning against the headcover of the large bed, to realize that I was inside a gallant room that made me swallow a lump several times.

"You okay?" The man next to me asked again. I lost myself for a while because at first I was fascinated by the place. Secondly, I was distracted by the presence of this person beside me right now, and third is, my mind was still processing what happened to me right after I fainted outright at the front gate of Zeurion City, and I can't remember what happened next. Then someone came inside the room where I am right now.

"Oh! She's awake already!" A beautiful woman said. I looked at her, admiring her beauty, seemed to look like she was in her late forties. She's gorgeous and elegant, which I was in awe of. She turned her gaze at the man beside me and then to me and smiled.

"Are you feeling better now?" she asked, "Tell me..." she continued and went right in front of me. I am speechless for some reason. Then the man answered the woman in front of me while offering her the chair beside me.

"I guess, she's not yet okay Madam." The man said. "I kept on asking her since she waked up but she remained silent." He added.

I wanted to speak, but I don't know why I couldn't articulate any word in front of these people, doesn't even have the slightest idea of where I was in the first place.

Am I in Zeurion already? I wondered and asked myself.

"Well, it looked like she's in trauma." The woman responded, and she looked at me, touching my face intently as if she was memorizing every detail of it. I gasped and pulled myself away.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you..." she explained while keeping her smiling face, "I can assure you, we are harmless and you'll going to be okay, I'm sure you need more rest as you seemed... weakened and tired." She added with so much concern in her voice. I just nodded in response.

After that, the woman stood up, walked away a few feet from me, and called the man who's been with me since I woke up. They are talking right next to the door. I am curious because I know they are talking about me as they keep glancing in my direction. I was seated there, still processing... what happened.

I heard the woman bid her goodbye and smile at me before she left and disappeared. Then after a moment, I was stunned when the man spoke again.

He went straight towards then he gave me a looked that I could not comprehend, I saw the worriedness, but still--- there was something in the way he looked at me.

I gulped when I met his gaze and looked like I got mesmerized by this man's beautiful face. His eyes are like the blasting fire that is fiery orange and hot. It made me even more speechless.

"All right, eat, I know you're hungry and if you need anything... just let me know," he said then, looking at him and nodding in response. "There are clothes here so you might want to change and take a bath, this is also your food," He offered, "Please eat while it's still hot," he said while smiling.

He seems nice and very handsome.

The people here have a charming appearance.

The man also left after giving me his instructions, but before he went out of the room, he glanced at me for the last time.

"By the way Miss, My name is Doron, again if you need anything you can simply ring the bell there next to your bed or go to my office, it's just next to this room, on the right. "He said while smiling.

"Ahh...mmmm..." I said. He was surprised when he heard something from me.

"Oh, you're talking!" he shockingly uttered and smiled, "I almost assumed that you might be dumb ... I'm sorry." Doron apologize.

He has a nice name, anyway.

I lowered my head, embarrassed, "Tha-thank you ..." I replied, and I heard him sigh.

"Oh, well... I'll leave you and eat well, and again I'm just there in the other room when you need anything."

"O-okay..." was my only reply, and he left the room.

When he came out of the room, I only dared to get out of bed. I can hear my stomach is hungry, then remember I never had a meal since I left Mount Oraya. I suddenly had a flashback of my Mom and my nightmare but tried my best to ignore it for now.

After that, I went to eat my food. I needed to get back on my feet to have enough strength in finding Claire, my Mom's best friend. Maybe, Doron can help me since he seems so kind.

I sigh. I promise Mama, I will look for Claire. I will get revenge for what they did to you... I said to myself.

I need to eat well to have back my strength, and Doron was right about it. And I know it would not be easy. I'm praying to the mighty Abba that he will guide me with this journey.
