I put on my headset, leaving it on as loud as possible. While Ed Sheeran is playing in my ears, I leave the house, cross the street and start running along the shore.

Not many hours had passed since dawn, so the beach was empty. Which is good, the blue of the sky blending with the blue of the sea. I remove my headset, listening to the sound of the waves breaking in the most perfect magnitude of nature. I could hear it perfectly, after all it is too early in the morning for the noise of the cars to disturb me.

I close my eyes, feeling the cold breeze on my face. At that very moment I travel, I was no longer in Copacabana, but somewhere in the ocean. I was in Ethan's arms, staring at the sea in front of us, waiting for the speedboat that would take us to our next tour. We were only a few days away from reaching our destination in the Maldives.
