She just met him hours ago and he is already talking about marriage?

Jade stared down at him in confusion.

Either he is mad or she is losing her mind.

She thought he'll have his fun and end this madness but the more he talks, the more she realizes the mess she'd found herself in.

This isn't a joke.

The look on his face said it all but part of her wished it was all a dream.

Never in her life had she thought of marriage.

She doesn't even know what marriage is or how to be in one.

"We will get married in a week" He stated.

"You must be joking," She said angrily.

"Sit down," He commanded. She slowly sat.

"I won't marry you"

"Now this is where you're getting it wrong. I'm not asking you, I'm telling you. And you better don't make a fuss because you know exactly what I'm capable of" He brought out his phone and showed her a video of her parents being followed by snippers.

She tried to take the phone but he moved it out of her reach. "Stop!" She almost cried.

"You are gonna do as I say not because your parents can die any minute you mess up but because you want to, with a smile" He smiled.

"You're a bastard!" She cried.

"True. Anyway, what kind of a fiancé will I be if I don't get you an engagement ring?" He forced the ring around her middle finger. "Never take that off" He ordered.

"Now what?" She wiped her tears.

"Why would you yell at a poor servant girl? I believe she is well behaved" He drank from his glass.

Look at him, sipping his wine and acting like all is well. Like he isn't fucking threatening her!

"She reported me?"

"No, she is your personal servant and I won't change her"

"You should have let me know. She just walked in unexpectedly and I wasn't in the best mood" She replied.

"Here, drink up. You'll feel better" Xavier poured her some wine but she didn't drink it.

"I'm sleepy"

"Shame, I thought we'd chat all night" He dropped his glass.

"Too bad" She threw him a fake smile.

"Goodnight" He stood and walked away.

Jade walked to her room with the two men following her.

Reality has already hit her.

This is not some joke, he is a dangerous man.

If she doesn't do whatever he says, he will kill her parents.

Deep down, Jade knew he could.

And this is the perfect time to run.

She can't marry a monster. She won't be happy in this relationship. What will her friends think of her?

But how will she escape?

The house is security tight. Men and women dressed in black suits everywhere.

Jade slept off thinking of an escape plan and when she woke up I'm the morning, an idea rang in her head.

She was already dressed when she heard another knock on her door.

Maria walked in to her dismay.

"Would you like to have your breakfast now?" Maria asked. Jade rolled her eyes.

"I'll have mine when Xavier will have his" She dismissively waved her hand.

"Um…Ma'am, boss isn't around. He said to make sure you have breakfast" Maria replied.

"Out!" Jade pointed at the door.

"But what about…"

"Get out! I don't want anything!" She shouted at the servant girl who immediately ran out.

Where did he go to this early?

She wanted to put her plan in motion.

Jade went downstairs with her two dedicated bodyguards hot on her tail.

She picked an apple in the kitchen but one of them picked a knife to cut the apple for her.

"Hey hey hey! We are not doing this too. I can cut my own fruit!" She warned them off.

Jade walked around the house over and over again until she mentally grasped the whole concept of the house.

"This is his room?" She stopped at a door on the same floor as her room.

Her bodyguards nodded.

"Missed me?" She jumped and turned around.

The hottest man alive was standing right in front of her.

She wondered why he hasn't fucked her yet.

Isn't that the point of all these?

"In your dreams" She folded her hands.

"Oh you have no idea what my dreams are" He walked to her and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.

She flushed and salvaged the hot burning sensation his lips left on her cheeks.

"Wanna see my room?" He took her hand and led her into his room locking the door.

Xavier slammed her against the door and lightly kissed her neck. He traced up her arm and played with her bra strap.

"This is my room" He moved away from her.

It took her some seconds to come back to her senses.

Jade walked around the huge room.

It had a king size bed with a side table, a mini bar, a lot of doors leading to God knows where and a balcony.

The marbled floors matched the walls.

Jade sat on one of the couches that made up his mini living room and watched him take off his suit.

"Let me guess, your favorite color is black" She said to him.

"I wonder what gave it away" He turned to her. "Come here" He gestured to her with his two fingers.

Jade lazily but happily walked to him.

He grabbed her by the waist and drew her to himself.

Xavier took his time to inhale her scent and slowly bit her earlobe. He placed a seductive kiss on her jaw and cheek. He kissed her cheekbone, temples, eyebrows and finally placed more on her eyelids.

Jade breathed deeply, closed her eyes and waited for his lips and when it never arrived, she slowly opened her eyes.

He was staring down at her intensely and she could see the lust in his eyes but something held him back.

Jade wrapped her hands around his neck and drew him closer. She was completely turned on and couldn't think. All she wanted was his hands on her.

He kissed her nose and moved back with a smile.

"Have lunch. I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow" He said and opened the door for her.

Jade collected herself and walked out. She felt his eyes all over her and felt ashamed because she knew he could see how turned on and pink she was.

As she sat on her bed, she still wasn't able to understand what happened.

Xavier was so close to her and she couldn't even have him.

He held himself back, but why?

'The question is why do you want him,' her brain whispered to her.

She completely forgot to put her plan into action.

Whenever she is close to him, it is a different feeling on another level.

She loses her senses and can't think straight.

"You hate him! Always remember that! Don't let him seduce you like that!" She fell back into the. bed.

What is happening to her?

Khalil hurried down the stairs, his footsteps echoing through the hallway. His servants informed him that Jade was waiting for him. He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw her standing in his foyer, two young boys by her side. For a moment, he thought it was a prank, but the look on his servants' faces told him otherwise. They knew better than to play tricks on him, especially when it came to someone like Jade. As he descended the stairs, Khalil's eyes locked onto Jade's, and he felt his heart skip a beat. She looked different, yet the same. Her hair was styled differently, and her eyes seemed more tired than he remembered, but the spark in them was still there. The boys standing beside her were the spitting image of Xavier, and Khalil's gut twisted with a mix of emotions. He had thought they were his once, had fought for them, only to discover they weren't. Now, seeing them with Jade, he felt a pang of longing. Khalil stopped a few feet away from Jade, his eyes drinking

The cold metal door creaked as Jade slipped into the small, dimly lit safehouse. Her heart thudded with every step she took. The silence was suffocating. She looked over her shoulder again, just to be sure she wasn’t followed.Raquel stood by the window, her arms folded, her profile lit by the thin strip of daylight sneaking through the blinds. She didn’t turn around.“You shouldn’t have come here,” Raquel said softly.Jade shut the door behind her and leaned against it. “Xavier’s after you.”Raquel chuckled dryly. “I’m aware.”He saw her that night. That night she helped Jade escape.“He thinks you helped me… He’s not going to forgive that, Raquel.”“I don't expect him to.”Xavier will forever be Xavier.Jade stepped further into the room, her voice almost in a whisper. “He doesn’t have the boys. He lied. He was bluffing… and I believed him. Raquel, if he doesn’t have them… where are they?”There was a long pause. Raquel turned, her face calm. Too calm.Jade’s breath caught. That n

  • Yours Only, The Mafia Lord's Obsession   Chapter 127

The apartment was too quiet. Jade sat at the edge of her sons’ bed, her fingers lightly brushing over a small stuffed bear left behind in the rush of that night. The room still smelled like them, like clean cotton, crayons, and safety. It used to calm her. Now it only reminded her how empty the house felt. Her heart was at war. Was she wrong to try and run? Should she fight harder? Or should she just stay and play nice until she found a safer way out? He had the boys and she wants them back. Without him in their lives. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she blinked them away. No. She wasn’t going to break again. She had already handed in her resignation. Burned every bridge. She was ready to disappear, to take her boys somewhere Xavier would never find them. Somewhere quiet. Somewhere normal. But her plans fell apart the moment she learned Xavier had already taken them. Why would he do this before the week was over? He gave her time! Well, she trie

  • Yours Only, The Mafia Lord's Obsession   Chapter 126

Jade paused at the threshold of Xavier’s office, the polished mahogany double doors looking like gates to a castle. She swallowed hard, steadying the tremor in her limbs. The room beyond glowed softly under warm lights, rich carpets, heavy draperies, walls lined with old portraits, the imposing desk at center stage. This place had once belonged to her. Now it belonged to him. She stepped forward, shoes whispering across the carpet. Her eyes swept the room, memorizing the place she had tried to leave behind, the throne he now occupied. Each familiar detail stung, the leather chairs, the shelves of books, the desk where many decisions had been made. Her throat felt tight. She's here again. Xavier sat behind the desk, hands folded, his face calm, too calm. He looked up, eyes locking on hers. The quiet flickered between them. “Jade,” he said, voice smooth, “back so soon?” Her chest clenched. She took a breath, trying to steady her voice. “I didn’t come

The house was silent when Jade crept through the hallway, every step measured. The moonlight filtered through narrow windows, painting pale stripes across the carpet. Her heart pounded so hard she feared the walls might hear it. She paused outside her sons’ door. A soft, even rhythm, a lullaby in breathing. Her boys slept, clutching small blankets. She swallowed hard. This was it. Raquel stood behind her, flashlight in hand, face pale but determined. “I checked the guards, the routes. We’re clear for now.” Jade nodded. She pressed a finger to her lips. “Let me just… one more look.” She touched her boys’ cheeks softly, memorizing. She kissed their foreheads. “Mommy’s going to take you somewhere safe. Forever.” They stirred slightly but stayed asleep. Relief flooded her, bitter and sharp. The door to her room was ajar. Light spilled from under. She froze. Footsteps echoed beyond, outside the room. Her body tensed. Raquel touched her arm. “That’s our signal.

  • Yours Only, The Mafia Lord's Obsession   Chapter 124

She froze. There, in the living room, her boys were on the floor, building a fort with couch pillows. And sitting across from them on the armrest was Xavier, tapping away at his phone like nothing had happened. Her knees almost gave way. He looked up casually, a small smirk pulling at the corners of his mouth. “You look like you’ve seen a ghost,” he said. Jade didn’t move. Didn’t breathe. Liam saw her and squealed with delight. “Mommy!” Liam ran to her, hugging her legs, pulling on her arm. “Play with us!” Liam said. She knelt, hugging him tightly, her heart aching, relief washing over her in a wave that made her dizzy. But behind that relief… was rage. He’s playing with her. He knew she'd panic. He wanted this. She stood slowly, her eyes locked on him. “You think this is funny?” Xavier raised an eyebrow. “What?” “You told me I had a week.” He stood now, slowly, deliberately. “And you do. I just missed them. Thought I’d take them for the evening. Is that a crime?”
