Timothy closed the door and said, "Say whatever you need to say but get it all out at once. And please, don't keep repeating things like how many years it's been. You keep coming over like this, and it's getting on my nerves."

Leonardo held back his frustration and spoke in a low, pleading tone, "I know I'm at fault. I promise you. If you just forgive me this one time—"

Timothy interrupted him. "Leonardo, let me put it this way. I've been with you since I was 17, and it's been seven years. If I forgive you just because I can't let go of these seven years, and then we stay together for another 20 years, what if you pull the same stunt again?
