Chapter 92: "Who are you?"

Anne woke in the middle of the night and realized Dominus wasn't in her room. She looked at her body and noticed her clothing had been changed. A smile then tugged her lips.

She slid down the bed and walked to the door before exiting it. It was midnight.

She strolled to his room, she didn't want to be alone.

On getting to the door, she didn't knock and pushed it open, knocking on it might disturb his slumber. But she didn't need to worry about that because he was already awake. He just sat on a chair and gazed out of the window. He seemed to be in deep thoughts.

Anne realized he hadn't noticed her presence in the room, so she walked behind to give him a scare.

She tiptoed towards him and touched his shoulder to scare him, but what she didn't comprehend was to be held by the neck and shoved to the wall roughly.

His fingers tightened around her neck, choking her.
