Matthew had no idea what Bellamy was trying to do. Bellamy's eyes were dull, and his long, eyebrows covered more than half of his eyes as he stared seriously at Matthew.

Matthew was so frightened that he could not speak. He just wanted Bellamy to stay far away, but no matter how hard he tried to move, it was useless. He felt like he was at the mercy of someone else's whims, helpless like meat on a chopping board.

"What are you doing?" Matthew shouted at him, trying to vent his fear and frustration.

Bellamy moved closer step by step. "Does it hurt?" he asked, almost tauntingly. It was clear to Matthew that he had not actually felt any pain.

"What’s going on?" Matthew asked, con
