Chapter 909

Madison was upset. She was in her second year of university and only came to earn extra points to get a scholarship. She wasn't a full-fledged intern, so why should she work night shifts?

Seeing her hesitation, Jennifer smiled sweetly. "What's the matter? I'm sponsoring you to attend university. Can't you handle a little hardship?"

Madison had no choice but to agree. She forced a smile. "Thank you for giving me this opportunity, Dr. Yale. I'll do my best."

And so, Madison was assigned to Jennifer's team.

Jennifer's team included not only junior doctors but also many new doctors and interns. During rounds, Jennifer asked many questions and always directed the first question to Madison.

However, Madison couldn't answer any of the questions. Jennifer then had the other students answer, and each shared their thoughts. None of them was as clueless as Madison, who couldn't utter a word.

Madison felt isolated in the group and was convinced that Jennifer was targeting her.
