Chapter 37: Juju

The next day.

Aninka and I find ourselves leaving the school. She walks beside me entwining my left arm with hers.

She is so excited it's pouring out of her pores. Many times I had come up with a thousand ways to get out of this arranged marriage, but nothing I did worked.
