“Do you do this for every girl?”

Aaron's eyes periodically darted around the interior of the car, searching for any sort of medicinal aid that could alleviate the cold that had taken hold of me. However, his search was in vain; the car was devoid of any such remedy.

Sensing the urgency of the situation, Aaron glanced at me with a proposition, "Let's go back to the hospital so the nurses can check on you," he said, his voice laced with concern.

I quickly dismissed the idea with a wave of my hand. "Nah, I'll be okay. I just need to get home," I insisted, trying to reassure him with my words.

He shot me a skeptical look, the worry still evident in his eyes. "Are you sure?" he pressed.

A genuine smile broke through my shivering as I met his gaze, "I'm sure," I affirmed, my confidence hopefully enough to assuage his concern.

With my reassurance, Aaron seemed to accept my decision. He turned his attention back to the road, the car's engine humming steadily as he continued to drive along the streets, now directed towards my
