I go back to staring at Ryan blankly.

We are at the front door of Ryan's parents and he suddenly grabs my waist tightly but I do not satisfy him with the reaction I know he's looking for. So I keep my eyes on the door as it peels open to show Isabella’s scowling face in front of me.

Ryan greets his mother but I do not say a word, I only stare blankly as we go into the house, if they want me to forcefully remain here as their slave and prisoner, that's exactly how I'm going to act.

Ryan tugs at me to say hello to his mother when we are in.

“Hello mother in law.” I say casually and my blank stare catches her off guard but she recovers and glares hard at me, probably not forgetting the public insult. That's good, I didn't say it for her to forget.
