Iris read the letter, reread it again and again multiple number of times till her eyes went cloggy and her vision foggy due to the tears.

Iris hugged that sheet of paper tightly; she did not mind it getting crumpled.

It was like a ventilator support system to her.

It was like a part of Ben was with her.

Hugging her knees tightly, Iris sat on the floor of guest room; she was still at Edwin's place and cried her heart out.

'Ben, he loved me so much that he did not want to confess his love till he was serving as my bodyguard" she hiccupped as she cried talking to nobody "because he felt incase I do not reciprocate he wont be able to guard me properly or I wont let him guard me.

And once I am aware of his feelings, he won't be able to do his job properly..."
