Chapter 6

He stopped the car in front of a five star restaurant, he came to her side to open her door and gave his key to the valet before leading her inside the hotel. When they entered, a man in his late 30s ran towards them and greeted them with a polite smile. He led them into a private chamber where the foods were already served but still hot.

“Who ordered these foods?” Ariana asked with a baffled expression. He chuckled at her expression and said “I am the one who ordered, if you don’t like anything in this you can order anything you like.” His concern brought a small smile to her face.

“When did you order and reserve this room?” she asked with a baffled expression.

“I don’t need to make any reservations, I just have to give the manager a missed call, and about the food that I eat mostly here so they know my taste.” He replied after a chuckle.

“Don't say this is your restaurant.” He replied with a wide smile. She got the answer for her question ‘Oh God how rich my boss is?’.

He served ‘Ultimate spaghetti carbonara’ on her plate.

“Dig in ‘’ he said while pouring wine in two glasses.

“Sir is that wine?”

 “Yes, why don’t you drink alcohol? “.

“No sir it’s not that” ‘I have very low tolerance for alcohol’ she continued in her mind. He noticed she was silent and not eating for a few minutes.

“What’s going on in your little head?” he asked with a smile.

“Noth.. nothing sir”

 “Stop calling me sir, just call me by my name when we are alone” she didn’t reply to him. “Did you get what I said?”

“OK sir”

“Huhhh …. Again ‘sir’”

“Sorry I am used to it” she lowered her head.

“Look at me Ariana” his voice is sexy enough to make her blush. She slowly raised her head to look into his face.

“Call me HUNTER”. She frowned and asked “Your name is Zane Hudson, right?”

“Zane is the name given by my parents, Hunter is the name given by my Grandparents. I love that name, so from now on when we are alone call me Hunter.”

“I will try” he smiled when he heard her low voice. Rest of the dinner went in silence. End of the dinner he found her drunk. Even though she has low tolerance for alcohol she loved the taste of the wine. This is the first time she has tasted wine so she nearly finished half a quarter of the bottle. He didn’t drink much because he needed to drive them back.

She took a few steps toward the door to exit the private chamber , suddenly she stumbled on her feet and lost her balance, before she kissed the ground he held her hands and pulled her to his chest. Slowly she raised her head to see his attractive face. She raised her hand to touch his clean shaved face and spoke in a raspy voice.

“You have no idea how you are disturbing me in my dreams, when I close my eyes all I see is you Zane. I love every little thing about you, most prominently your eyes, it always makes me insane.” Saying that she shoved her face on his chest and wrapped her arms around his neck.

 He was stunned, he didn’t expect this surprise, her proximity killing him. He wants to kiss those pink lips badly but he doesn’t, he needs her permission to make a move, he doesn’t want to take advantage of her for his desires when she is drunk. When he saw she had already fallen asleep he carried her to his office which is on the fifth floor. He laid her on the couch and kept a cushion pillow to support her head. He sat near her legs and removed her shoes. He walked towards the balcony after covering her with a blanket. He took out his phone and dialled Blake’s number, he picked the call after three rings

“Hey man what’s up?"

“I think I have figured out my feelings for her”

“Hey idiot, first of all try to know about her then you can make a move to make her fall in love” after a pause he added “do you have any idea about her personal life, what if she is already dating someone?”

“If there is another man I don’t mind killing him, I know I am talking like a psycho right now but she is driving me crazy man” then he confessed what happened in the private chamber.

“She is attracted to you so your work is very easy now, just show her the way you care for her and make her feel special. That’s all you have to do”. After talking some business he hung up the call, he came inside and sat near her legs. By looking at her angelic face he slowly drifted into a sleep. 

The bright light of the sun woke him up. He opened his eyes to get a sweet shock of his life, she has rested her head on his chest by hugging his abs tightly.

Slowly his hands made its way to her cheeks , he caressed her cheeks with back of his fingers, he pinched her rosy cheeks slightly, his hands traveled upwards to touch her hair, ‘This morning is like a dream to me, I like to wake up every morning with you in my arms’ with this thought he gave a long lingering forehead kiss.

He took his phone out to take a selfie he want this moment to be with his last breathe.

After settling her comfortably on the couch he went near his desk to order breakfast and coffee for them asking to bring it to his office after 45 minutes through intercom . He went inside the bathroom to take a shower.

She opened her eyes with a severe headache. She groaned in pain the last thing she remembered was having dinner with him, she looked around to see an unknown surrounding its not her bedroom but an office, immediately she checked her dress she heaved a sigh when she saw her dress is on her body and she is not naked.

She heard water sound from the bathroom. After sometime water sound stopped with in few minutes he came out of the bathroom only wearing a towel around his waist.

Water dripping from his hair slowly traveled through his sexy abs, to be honest she was mesmerized by the sight infront of her. When he saw she gazing at him intensely. 

‘Finally those tiring hours in the gym paid off’ he thought and walked towards her by taking slow steps.

“You like what you see?” he asked with a smirk on his face. She slowly tilted her eyes from his abs to his face. He snapped his fingers which made regain her senses.

“Huh .. Ehh.. What am I doing here sir?”

“You were drunk last night, I don’t know your address so I brought you here”

“Where is this place?”

“We are still at the restaurant, this is my office here.” After a pause he added “go and take a shower.”

“I don’t have a dress sir, it’s ok I can take a shower at home” by saying home she remembered she didn’t call her parents. She searched her mobile inside her bad, picked up the phone and dialed her dad’s number.

“Hello dad”

“Good morning sweetheart” there is no tension in his voice, he is relaxed and greeting her in a good mood.

“Good morning dad, ehm yesterday..”

“I know dear one of your colleague called me and said that you guys were busy with some foreign clients through video conference and phone is not allowed inside the conference hall, and he said that you asked him to inform me. Is there everything ok in the company my dear?”

“Ehh… yes dad all good I will be there in an hour” she was baffled, she has no idea what her was father was taking about. She thought to ask Zane about this she turned her head to see the man who was in a white towel few minutes ago has dressed up in a maroon tuxedo pairing with black shirt. He has set his hair high with a spray. She regained her senses and asked

“Sir did you called my parents?”

“Yes .. your phone kept ringing for long when I saw your father calling I couldn’t ignore, he was so much worried about you I don’t know if I have said that you are drunk what would be his reaction, so I told him a white lie. I am sorry if I was wrong”

“No sir you have made my day thank you so much for your help” he smiled on her reply “You can go home and take a day off if you want”

“No sir I am fine I will come back after changing my dress”

“I already bought you a dress with the help of a waitress here, you can take a shower and change into it” she thought for sometime and nodded

“Thank you sir”

“Aren’t we alone why are you calling me sir?” she smiled and went inside the bathroom with a bag he handed over.

After having breakfast they both started towards the company while on the way she informed her parents she would come in the evening.
