Chapter 12

After having shower she laid on her bed, all those time she was thinking about Zane. She remembered what her father said. She reached her phone to call him but after few seconds she changed her mind to leave him a text message. She has no idea what to send so she sent a blank message. When she didn’t get any reply for too long she switched off the mobile screen and left the room to spend some time with her parents.

Zane asked the driver to leave after dropping Ariana. He drove to his penthouse after he got her call as she reached. He was in a mixed emotions happy, sad, furious and confused. Happy because he proposed her and she kissed him, furious at ATLAS EVANDER and Carl black, sad because of the mess in His girl’s life and he was confused about this mystery man ATLAS, and he has no idea what he should do next.

He reached his penthouse without wasting a second he changed into his sportswear and engaged himself in a rigorous workout for almost three hours. When he was done with his intense workout he had his juice which made by himself, and he went to take a shower. He felt relaxed after a long bath.

He had his dinner and went to bed, he casually checked his phone, he was surprised to see four blank messages from Ariana.

[ Hey love, sorry I was in the gym I didn’t notice your message] 20:59

He didn’t get any reply so he sent another message,

[ Babe are you alright?] 21:17

[ Sweetheart is everything is fine at home?] 21:45

He couldn’t sit and wait for her reply anymore ‘What if she is in danger?’ even the words Danger and her in one sentence wasn’t settling well with him. Without wasting anymore time he drove to her house. When he got down from the car he got her reply

[ Yes , sir. I am fine] 22.13

Only then he felt like he is alive. He let out a heavy breath and dialed her number .

“Babe, what took you so long to reply?”

“I was watching TV with my parents, I forgot to take my mobile and left it in my bedroom”

“Huh .. I am glad you are alright, if you can…. Only if you are comfortable…. come down”

“Come down? Are you here?”

“Yes , ehmm…”

“I am coming”

Ariana informed her dad that Zane is here to meet her, she left her home after getting his permission. She saw he was waiting for her by leaned his back on the car door.

He was wearing a Grey sweatpant and a black goodie paired with a black shoe. He was way more than handsome under the moonlight. He was like a treat to her eyes. She kept ogling at him for good amount of time.

As soon as he saw his angel, he rushed to hug her. After a minute or two he released her from his hug.

“ Can I ask you to company me for a night drive?”

She thought for few seconds and nodded her head with a cute smile on her face. He opened the car door for her after she settled in he walked to the driver seat to drive the car.

“Where are we going?”

“A small surprise”

He drove his car towards the beach where a ship motor boat is waiting for them. As soon as she saw the boat her face lit up

“Are we going in this?” he nodded his head a smile. He held her by intertwining their fingers, he led her to the boat.

“Hello sir”

“Hello captain, we can start if everything is ready”

“Sure sir”

Boat started to sail into the sea.

Ariana slowly walked to the edge and stood their, suddenly she felt two arms wrapped around her waist. She doesn’t need to turn to check the owner of those strong hands.

“Why did you send me four blank messages?”

“That…. I…”

“Blank message has two meaning one is ‘there is nothing to be said’ as I didn’t sent you any text it can’t be the meaning of your blank message. Other is ‘don’t know how to start’, if my guess is right second one should be the meaning, correct me if I’m wrong”

“Indeed I have something to say…..” she paused for few minutes before she speak,

“I think… I can give you…I mean us a chance”

“WHAT!! Are you serious?”

 She nodded with a small smile.

“Oh my God, thank you so much for considering me” he hugged her tighter.

“But on one condition” he broke the hug and looked deep into her eyes as he was trying to read her thoughts.

“If you break my trust even for once you will not see me again in your life”

“That day won’t come love I promise”

 He said and planted a kiss on her shoulder blade. They spent few hours together. By the time he dropped her it’s almost dawned. As she took a day off she didn’t bother to sleep till afternoon.

Zane woke up by his phone’s ringtone which is he set specially for Blake. As soon as he opened his eyes he answered the call “Speak”

“There is not even a single clue about the man name called ATLAS EVANDER, as for his past yes, he was a professor in your girl’s university and they were in a serious relationship for years, but Zane I am damn sure this man is not simple as we think because we couldn’t get any information about his past or present life. Rey could only managed to get information when he was living in Los Angeles. There is not even a single clue about his existence before or after. We must be alert all the time, anything could happen.”

“OK, ask Rey to investigate every single thing about this man and most importantly his photograph. I will call you later”

 He thought to go back to sleep to calm himself but he couldn’t, even if he went to his company he won’t be able to focus, so he decided to spend some time on his workout.

Ariana woken up by her growling stomach, she tilted her head to glance at the metal clock it’s 13:45, before getting food she needed a shower to freshen up her self, she took a quick shower she left her room to eat something.

After she had her lunch she thought to go for a walk. While she walking around the park which is located inside the apartment compound her phone indicates a incoming call, name of the caller brought a smile to her face.

“Hey love..” his deep sexy voice gave her the feel of butterflies flying inside her stomach.

“Hi sir”

“I am warning you babe, call me ‘sir’ once again on our personal time, I promise I will make you a moaning mess under me” she turned red when she heard him.

“You… you.. won’t, you are just kidding”

“Try me, babe”. She blushed and bit her lips by his words

“ You just woke up now?”

“No Love , I woke around four hours ago, I thought you will be sleeping so I didn’t disturb you……. Did you have lunch?”

“Yes I did, did you?”

“My takeaway is not here yet, Baby very soon we will have to go to Sydney for a business meeting”

“Sydney? When?”

“we have to go in seven days for a important meeting and you will be coming with me”

“Sydney.. That too in seven days… are you kidding me boss?”

“I am sorry I know it’s a short notice but it’s really Important and you have to be by my side as an assistant”

“OK anyway it’s my job, but what about the visa procedure? ”

“I will take care of those matters I will be needing your passport”

“Ok I will bring it tomorrow” they talked for few minutes before hanging up.

When she entered the house she saw her mother was not in a good mood “Momma is everything alright?”

 Eva gave a faint smile “Yes my princess”

“But you were lost in your thoughts a minute ago”

“Nothing my dear”

“Where is dad momma?”

“He … he… went to meet Mr. Henry”

“Hmm .. Momma can you make me a cup of Indian tea, I feel like my head is going to burst at any moment.” Eva nodded before heading to the kitchen.

‘Something was not right with mom’ Ariana thought to her self.

After Ariana hung up the phone Zane turned his head to two men who were waiting for his reply.

“She said she will come with me to Sydney ” both the men left out a sigh of relief.

“What if he found out the place you are going to take her?” Colin asked with worried expression.

“Nobody will find it out I have already arranged everything, uncle you don’t worry about her safety as long as I am alive nobody can even think to take her away”

“I trust you Zane, I know that you confessd to my daughter, after years of loneliness finally she allowed someone to break down the wall inside her heart. Even if I am dead now I would rest in peace, promise me Zane that you won’t leave her or hurt her, because she is already broken if it happens again she will be broken beyond repair.”

“I promise you uncle, if I hurt her or leave her that will be my last day of breathing.” After a pause “ Oh uncle I forgot to tell you the place I am taking her, I… ” Colin interrupted his words “No son, you don’t have to tell what if someone blackmailed me with something and asked the place it’s better only you know the place”

“Huh .. I have to leave now Mr. Henry, and Zane thank you for protecting my daughter”

After Colin left the mansion Henry asked “When did you confess to her?”

“Yesterday”

“I think.. It’s too early to confess, because you don’t know her past what if you reg..”

“Grandpa Indeed I don’t know much about her past but I love you her I want her in my life I cannot even Imagine how my life would be without her. Even it’s been few days I am already addicted to her, and I will not regret my choice or decision you know that very well. I don’t give any shit to her past.” He spoke hastily

“OK calm down Mr. Hunter” he patted Zane’s shoulder and left to his room
