Two Weeks Later
"It's great to see you smiling," Aurora said as she leaned against the door.
"Yeah, I enjoy being here," I said as I looked around the nursery. "Thank you for letting me help with the painting and all," I said and she smiled, shaking her head.
"I like to see you happy," she shrugged, walking over to me and sitting down on the chair next to mine. "Can't she come out already," she groaned rubbing her belly and I smiled looking at it.
"Don't rush my niece, she'll come out when she's ready," I said, rubbing her swollen belly.
"Well, I'm more than ready!" I laughed out as she continued complaining about how she was ready to
Today was the day I had finally gotten around my plans of introducing Aurora to Rosie and hopefully would be the start of a new friendship between all of us. I just thought she worked too hard and needed a break and have some girl time with people around her age. Aurora and I were already at the coffee shop waiting for her, it was the day after I told Rick he is shit and I felt amazingly happy. "You really can't stop smiling can you?" Aurora asked, grinning as she sipped her tea. "You'll probably feel the same after you give birth to my niece and stop forcing her in," I said and she scowled, automatically rubbing her belly. "Just yesterday you were talking about leaving her inside and letting her come out whe
I woke up feeling a slight ache on my back and I groaned as I laid on my stomach in my bed. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I slowly got out of bed dragging myself to the bathroom. After brushing my teeth and doing my face routine, I walked out of the bathroom to the living room and paused once I heard light snoring. Slowly walking over to the couch, I found Jason sleeping with his arm hanging from the couch, his mouth was slightly open, he looked younger in this position. I found myself bringing my hand over to his face and tracing his jawline with my finger. "Why are you so... perfect?" I whispered to myself and at that exact moment like a horror scene, a beautiful horror scene, he opened his eyes and stared right into mine. It felt like time froze just for a second but I quickly grounded myself and
I opened the door and found Jason standing by the door holding his pack of beers in his hand, putting my hand on my hip I cocked my head to the side. "I figured I might as well come to get drunk here instead of having Keith call you every night to come fetch me," he explained and I closed my eyes shaking my head. "No," I answered, getting drunk every night was now some sort of a hobby for him, every single night. "Believe me, it's easier this way and it saves you the trip," he said walking inside my apartment and placing his alcohol on the counter. "Why do you even need to get drunk every single night?" I asked him and he smiled sitting down and opened a can of beer. "Because I get to spend some time with you
Lately, I had been feeling exhausted from doing nothing, and it amazed me how that was possible, the thought of doing nothing itself exhausted me. I had no job, but that doesn't mean I didn't have some potential businesses working on the side that I still needed to get to but I just felt I was in need of a break, from everything that happened with Jason, Rick and whatever else that happened. Being exhausted was one of the mere side effects of doing nothing, I was horny! I don't know how I was still able to go through the day without getting an orgasm to kick-start it but I did, but the feeling was intense and it was almost becoming annoying. Maybe I should look at the prospects of investing in toys? Slowly getting out of bed, I made my way to the bathroom and cleaned myself up, staring at the mirror, I deci
Jason and I laid on the floor covered in sweat as we both regained our breaths. A thin blanket covering us that we had found on the couch. That was intense, had it been so long that I forgot how having sex with him always left me breathless? Turning my head to the side to look at him, he was still looking up to the ceiling and it gave me time to study his side profile. Why men had to be more beautiful and given all the edges surpassed me, he turned his head around and his eyes met mine. I felt a smile crawl up my face as we stared deep into each other's eyes, he brought his hand to my face and the pad of his thumb that did wonders on me moved softly against my cheek. "How are you feeling?" he asked and I grinned slowly. "Like I'm ready for round two," I said an
I walked into Jason's office building smiling at everyone that I knew there and receiving a few friendly smiles back. Stepping into the elevator, I pressed his floor and patiently waited as it agonizingly went slow, not really, but since I was really excited to see him I felt as if it was taking time. At last, the elevator doors opened and the floor was... busy? He had people working on his floor now? Wow, only a few weeks and everything has changed drastically. Walking in between the people to get to his office, everybody was completely absorbed in what they were doing, nobody out of place, and all looked so serious...the joys of working on the bosses floor. His door was already open, but still, with the respect I had, I knocked and watched him loo
I sat with Ora in the kitchen as she made us tea while I was cradling her cute baby in my arms. I had just filled her in on what happened with Rosie yesterday and it was safe to say she was fuming just like that kettle was. "I told you she was crazy, Amelia but you always want to see the good in people," she said and I sighed, rolling my eyes before giving my sweet Bella my finger, which she clutched and my heart melted all over again. "Maybe she just really wanted it?" I said suggestively but I totally agreed with Ora, I never wanted to come to a conclusion about a person before I really got to know them. "Sweetie, she's working as his PA now, her hair looks like yours and she is wearing your clothes!" she snapped her fingers at me and I giggled. "He doesn't even no
"Hey, you still haven't found my tablet at your house?" I asked Jason as I lazily laid on his couch bored out of my mind. Aurora had to take Bella to the clinic for something to do with newborn babies, Jason was working as always and that's where my list of friends ends. He had invited me to come to work with him today because I couldn't stop sighing the whole time we were together last night, which by the way was incredible. We had some sort of a date I would say? Where we watched movies at his house and basically bonded. I went home after that but that didn't stop us from having a call since I arrived home till three a.m, where he of course heard my pleas of letting me do something with him today. And he did, he let me come to his office jus
Two years after giving birth to Adrian, Jason and I were finally getting married...with more people around this time. During those two years, it definitely wasn't easy, we had just welcomed our newborn baby, the merger of the company was taking place and we were getting used to our two different families who weren't so different. Jason's side of the family was amazing, they were supportive and always wanted us to visit them with their favourite grandson, my side of the family was just as amazing, always present and helpful in raising Adrian. It wasn't easy at first after giving birth, there were many sleepless nights, debates on who's changing the diaper, or who's turn it was to stay up all night. I was the one who always stayed up all night and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I was a sweating mess. My hair was sticking onto my face, the light cloth that covered my body stuck onto me like a second skin, I smelt bad, just like sweat and I felt horrible. Screaming out for the umpteenth time today, feeling the excruciating labour pain kick me again and each time worse than before, I looked over at my husband whose face was scrunched up in pain as I squeezed his hand...if I was feeling this, he had to feel it too. Even though his wasn't anything measured up to mine. "Baby, breathe," he said, noticing my glare and doing those ridiculous breathing exercises. Deep breaths in and deep breaths out, it didn't work! And it didn't help with getting this baby out of me, on five centimetres dilated, half through getting his baby out of me. I think I should have been more clear when I said hous
"Okay, so how about, Jasper?" I asked suggestively as I laid on Jason's chest playing with the light stubble on his chin. "What does it mean?" he asked as he turned another page in the book he was reading, he looked so sexy with his glasses on, chewing on his bottom lip as he concentrated on his book and tried to give me attention as well. "Bringer of treasure, plus it's a fiery red gem that symbolises courage, endurance, and health," I explained to him watching his eyes stray from his book over to me. I still can't describe the feeling those eyes give me whenever they meet mine. "I like it," he said and his eyes roamed all over my face. "But I also like Declan," he said and my face scrunched up. "No, I don't like it," I said and he laughed while cl
"Happy birthday to you," I sang to Jason as I sat on top of him, waking him up I pushed the cupcake with the cliché one candle on it towards him. He gave me a boyish grin and pushed his hair back before sitting up straight. "Baby," he groaned, still smiling and I carried on singing, each note getting higher and higher as I jumped up and down softly. "Make a wish!" I exclaimed excitedly and he blew the candle out. Taking out the candle from the cake, I grabbed the cupcake and took a huge bite out of it. He stared at me shocked and I shrugged giggling. "I thought that was mine!" "The candle was yours," I said, still laughing, finishing off the cupcake he pouted and shook his head. "And this is delicious," I moaned with my mouthful of his cake.
I walked into Rick's and Kiara's house feeling extremely nervous and I was just about ready to vomit all of my anxiety out, but I was willing to stay strong, for my new family I had to stay strong. Where there's a will, there's a way. I cringed at my corny thought but it was a truthful thought that I'm not about to repeat! And of course, there is never a time I enter madam's house and she's not there, I wonder what it will be today. "Hey there, Ms CEO!" She chirped, waving her hands showing me she had just changed her nails, to a mustard colour and they were coffin-shaped, they weren't bad at all but for her skin colour, they didn't really compliment her pretty fingers, she did have pretty fingers. "Hey Kiara, how are you doing?" I asked clutchin
"Amelia Adams, will you do me the honours of becoming my wife, Mrs Daniels?" I stared at Jason feeling many emotions pass through me. Excitement and joy because I was really happy he proposed to me, I never thought the day would come but it's finally here! Confusion because I never really thought the day would be here. I stared into his eyes as the hopefulness turned into worry, was he worried about what my response would be? I swear when I woke up today I didn't think it would be filled with double exciting news despite the current circumstances which by the way were about to change. "Amelia?" he choked out standing up and I realized I hadn't answered him yet. "Get back on your knee!" I quickly said, pushing him back down and nodding my head rapidly. "Yes, I'd love
Jason I sat in my home office sorting out files and making necessary adjustments to the documents before leaning back on my chair and releasing a heavy sigh. I read through the files I had just compiled together and I could feel the frown between my eyebrows deepen. I felt soft hands release the tension on my shoulders as they applied enough pressure, her lips made contact with my ear and I felt a pleasurable shiver run down my skin. "You're so tense, daddy. You should relax," I released a groan and held her hand to bring her around so that she could stand in front of me. My breath hitched as soon as I saw what she was wearing. "Do you like it, daddy?"
I had finally decided to have lunch with Marlene because under all this stress and shit that was currently happening, I thought I should at least get to know something about my brother's. I rushed into the restaurant after talking to Jason who wouldn't stop calling every two hours. "I hope I didn't keep you waiting long?" I said to her and she shook her head, getting up and giving me a hug which I didn't expect at all. "It's alright, thank you for agreeing to meet me," she said excitedly and I smiled while taking my seat. "So how have you been? Your engagement and new position caught us all by surprise." "You can thank Rick for that," I mumbled under my breath and she gasped leaning forward. "The engagement too?" she ask
I stood in Jason's kitchen waiting for my food to warm up. I woke up starving not that it was anything new. I sent Ora a few texts before pushing myself off the counter once I heard the ding telling me my food was ready. I opened the microwave and I was attacked with sweet satisfying smells that made my stomach growl. I grabbed my bowl and instantly dug into my food walking out the kitchen and almost bumped into Jason, luckily my food was safe. "Hi," he whispered and I nodded my head taking another spoonful of food, a smile made its way on his face and I shrugged in question. "You must've been hungry." "I woke up hungry," I said softly as I took another spoon. "It's quite normal," I said walking away to the living room.
