I stood in Jason's kitchen waiting for my food to warm up. I woke up starving not that it was anything new.
I sent Ora a few texts before pushing myself off the counter once I heard the ding telling me my food was ready. I opened the microwave and I was attacked with sweet satisfying smells that made my stomach growl.
I grabbed my bowl and instantly dug into my food walking out the kitchen and almost bumped into Jason, luckily my food was safe.
"Hi," he whispered and I nodded my head taking another spoonful of food, a smile made its way on his face and I shrugged in question. "You must've been hungry."
"I woke up hungry," I said softly as I took another spoon. "It's quite normal," I said walking away to the living room.
I had finally decided to have lunch with Marlene because under all this stress and shit that was currently happening, I thought I should at least get to know something about my brother's. I rushed into the restaurant after talking to Jason who wouldn't stop calling every two hours. "I hope I didn't keep you waiting long?" I said to her and she shook her head, getting up and giving me a hug which I didn't expect at all. "It's alright, thank you for agreeing to meet me," she said excitedly and I smiled while taking my seat. "So how have you been? Your engagement and new position caught us all by surprise." "You can thank Rick for that," I mumbled under my breath and she gasped leaning forward. "The engagement too?" she ask
Jason I sat in my home office sorting out files and making necessary adjustments to the documents before leaning back on my chair and releasing a heavy sigh. I read through the files I had just compiled together and I could feel the frown between my eyebrows deepen. I felt soft hands release the tension on my shoulders as they applied enough pressure, her lips made contact with my ear and I felt a pleasurable shiver run down my skin. "You're so tense, daddy. You should relax," I released a groan and held her hand to bring her around so that she could stand in front of me. My breath hitched as soon as I saw what she was wearing. "Do you like it, daddy?"
"Amelia Adams, will you do me the honours of becoming my wife, Mrs Daniels?" I stared at Jason feeling many emotions pass through me. Excitement and joy because I was really happy he proposed to me, I never thought the day would come but it's finally here! Confusion because I never really thought the day would be here. I stared into his eyes as the hopefulness turned into worry, was he worried about what my response would be? I swear when I woke up today I didn't think it would be filled with double exciting news despite the current circumstances which by the way were about to change. "Amelia?" he choked out standing up and I realized I hadn't answered him yet. "Get back on your knee!" I quickly said, pushing him back down and nodding my head rapidly. "Yes, I'd love
I walked into Rick's and Kiara's house feeling extremely nervous and I was just about ready to vomit all of my anxiety out, but I was willing to stay strong, for my new family I had to stay strong. Where there's a will, there's a way. I cringed at my corny thought but it was a truthful thought that I'm not about to repeat! And of course, there is never a time I enter madam's house and she's not there, I wonder what it will be today. "Hey there, Ms CEO!" She chirped, waving her hands showing me she had just changed her nails, to a mustard colour and they were coffin-shaped, they weren't bad at all but for her skin colour, they didn't really compliment her pretty fingers, she did have pretty fingers. "Hey Kiara, how are you doing?" I asked clutchin
"Happy birthday to you," I sang to Jason as I sat on top of him, waking him up I pushed the cupcake with the cliché one candle on it towards him. He gave me a boyish grin and pushed his hair back before sitting up straight. "Baby," he groaned, still smiling and I carried on singing, each note getting higher and higher as I jumped up and down softly. "Make a wish!" I exclaimed excitedly and he blew the candle out. Taking out the candle from the cake, I grabbed the cupcake and took a huge bite out of it. He stared at me shocked and I shrugged giggling. "I thought that was mine!" "The candle was yours," I said, still laughing, finishing off the cupcake he pouted and shook his head. "And this is delicious," I moaned with my mouthful of his cake.
"Okay, so how about, Jasper?" I asked suggestively as I laid on Jason's chest playing with the light stubble on his chin. "What does it mean?" he asked as he turned another page in the book he was reading, he looked so sexy with his glasses on, chewing on his bottom lip as he concentrated on his book and tried to give me attention as well. "Bringer of treasure, plus it's a fiery red gem that symbolises courage, endurance, and health," I explained to him watching his eyes stray from his book over to me. I still can't describe the feeling those eyes give me whenever they meet mine. "I like it," he said and his eyes roamed all over my face. "But I also like Declan," he said and my face scrunched up. "No, I don't like it," I said and he laughed while cl
I was a sweating mess. My hair was sticking onto my face, the light cloth that covered my body stuck onto me like a second skin, I smelt bad, just like sweat and I felt horrible. Screaming out for the umpteenth time today, feeling the excruciating labour pain kick me again and each time worse than before, I looked over at my husband whose face was scrunched up in pain as I squeezed his hand...if I was feeling this, he had to feel it too. Even though his wasn't anything measured up to mine. "Baby, breathe," he said, noticing my glare and doing those ridiculous breathing exercises. Deep breaths in and deep breaths out, it didn't work! And it didn't help with getting this baby out of me, on five centimetres dilated, half through getting his baby out of me. I think I should have been more clear when I said hous
Two years after giving birth to Adrian, Jason and I were finally getting married...with more people around this time. During those two years, it definitely wasn't easy, we had just welcomed our newborn baby, the merger of the company was taking place and we were getting used to our two different families who weren't so different. Jason's side of the family was amazing, they were supportive and always wanted us to visit them with their favourite grandson, my side of the family was just as amazing, always present and helpful in raising Adrian. It wasn't easy at first after giving birth, there were many sleepless nights, debates on who's changing the diaper, or who's turn it was to stay up all night. I was the one who always stayed up all night and I wouldn't have it any other way.
