On the way to Blakewell Corporation’s headquarters, Ruth looked at Eilam and thought.

“When did he become so flexible? He could even grasp what Abel actually meant! That’s a huge improvement!”

Eilam parked the car in the basement of the office building. He nervously helped Ruth open the door and spoke respectfully. “We’re here, Mrs. Blakewell.”

Ruth averted her gaze from him and looked at the office building. She subconsciously muttered, “He’s still working, even though it’s already so late. He does take his job seriously.”

“Since his grandfather is hospitalized and Nicholas is not dependable, Mr. Blakewell has had to deal with most of the work.”

Ruth was surprised to hear that. “Grandpa hasn’t been discharged from the hospital yet?”
