Back in the hospital, the ward fell into an eerie silence after the Jenkins siblings left.

The atmosphere was strangely tense.

Rebecca broke the silence first. She apologized to Daniel. "I'm sorry, I didn't consider your feelings, and that's my fault. I know I haven't been in the best mood around you these past few days. If you're planning to leave the hospital because of this, I'll arrange for a caregiver to take care of you and have your meals delivered. Would that be okay?"

She tried to keep her tone as calm as possible.
