Woman in a veil

CHAPTER -3

Those Vampires landed our Castle land in their human form from a bat-like creature. Wolves began to lose their nerves and were ready to smash their heads. We were watching these terrible fights with our own eyes. Why Vampires out of nowhere? Some slaughtered werewolves, some werewolves tore out the belly of  Vampires and the was a horrible, unexpected battle I've ever seen in my whole 17 years.

"I'm so scared Ella, it's so scary!! I can't bear to watch it ." I hid my face crying into Ella's arms.

We were watching it though we couldn't bear to see our wolves getting killed. Suddenly a big bat alike came crossing our Castle and landed on our ground in their human form dressed in a black cloak.

 Their eyes were red as blood and as per their appearance, we assumed that they might be the leaders of Vampires. Ella holds me in her arms more tightly so I can get protection. My body was trembling and it felt like my body was freezing for a movement

We were observing from my window.  suddenly my eyes catch the attention of the Vampire lady. in a long black velvet skirt and a black veil covering her face. We were unable to see her face, unlike her other friends.

  One wolf ran to attack her. But she grabbed that werewolf with her bare hands in the air and took a silver dagger from her pocket stabbing on that wolf's stomach tearing his belly.

She waved other Vampires to halt. They quickly ran towards their leaders who were four in numbers.  They didn't do anything and said something to my father but I couldn't hear properly. She ordered her group and flew away into the sky.

Soon Aunt Camilia rushed towards my room and after seeing me and Ella are safe, she was in tears and gave me and Ella a hug and kissing our foreheads. 

"Why these Vampires came all of sudden, Aunty? I've never seen them since I was born, what do they want aunty?" I asked my Aunt. 

"It's a long story dear, it's better for you to not know. They just came for something from us. No matter how much they are gonna threaten us we, the West forest pack will never hand them ."

I wanted to ask Aunt who was the woman that was waving her hands to them and what's the reason behind their attacks. But I was afraid to ask her so I won't upset her.  I kept that question within my heart and did not bring it to my lips. As she told it was none of my business.  Cause even if I did, I can do nothing about that. 

After such a disturbing fight, my aunt didn't leave me while sleeping cause I was frightened of such a fight. And it was my first experience with witnessing fights cause there is merely battle fought within West forest castle.

And the next day, I woke up at 7 am. This time I found myself on the bed until 7 am. I was amazed but I couldn't go look out for him. for I will get punched by other wolves if wander near the Castle without anyone higher summoning me there. I rang the bell to get my breakfast ready.

 Ella came with my breakfast in a couple of minutes. Cause usually she would bring me food at my quarter cause she was permitted and assigned by my father to do so. After having breakfast we went to the bathroom for washing. 

My pain was healed by Jordan yesterday but the scar remained. Ella brought the herbs that can eliminate the scars or any kind of bruises. After we were done washing, I became ready for going to school. And I remembered Jordan. I wonder how is he after yesterday's incident cause he must have so taken part in yesterday's fight too. And it made me worried that I wanted to see him badly.

I got out from my quarter and Ella was already out of Castle's gate waiting for me. I asked "where is Jordan? isn't he coming with us? "  

"There's nothing to worry about. He had some business with the pack to finish. He's absolutely fine. Don't stress out too much!". she confronted me rubbing my back.

We got into the car and in minutes we reached school. Fortunately, Ella and I belong to the same Homeroom.

 We seated on our desk and kept our gossips on with other girls near our desk. Emma graham celebrated her birthday last Monday and she turned eighteen already. She beat about the bush regarding how she met her mate. She bragged he is from Crimson pack, the Same pack as hers While talking, she eventually taunted me saying I won't be able to get my fated mate cause I was unable to transform into a wolf and I won't be fated to meet my mate. 

 I wonder if you would be able to call as a werewolf ." She straightly thrust my heart with her pricky words with a sarcastic smirk on her face.  I don't know what grudge she holds me for spitting that shit. I was already knocked out by my fate, from my own family, pack, and school friends too and here we go again.

Before I could react back, Ella stood from her seat and grabbed Emma's Collar while Emma was scratched by her sharp nails.

"Don't you ever treat my friend like trash, think before you spit any  rubbish or I'll smash the geography your clumsy pretty face, fuck off bitch!!" Ella's black eye shone yellow when she was outraged and threw  Emma out of her seat.

"Just leave it, Ella, she is not wrong though!" I tried to calm Ella and made her sit. Emma with angry eyes stood up and went back to her seat cause she knew she won't be a match to defeat  Ella anyway.

"you shouldn't have stopped me. otherwise, I would have taught that bragger a good lesson by beating her an*s off. You are not the person they thought you are. Let the time come when you turn 18 and we will see !!"

  She scratched her bench with her nails in anger"If moon goddess let it happen,  I want that too! Ella."  I murmured looking out of the window leaving a deep breath. Sun was looking so cheerful and the sounds of birds chirping made my troubled heart calm.  Ella said it's now five months to go for her eighteen birthday and at that time she would be able to find her mate. 

"I wish you get a very understanding wolf as your mate Ella! I would be looking forward to that day ." I grabbed her hands and we smiled talking about the future with our mate.

In the middle of the Class,     my head hurt so much. It hurt as it could kill me and I saw a vision before my eyes, it showed vampires, fights and a strange grey colored creature which looked as if it was a wolf but it's got a pair of bat wings.
