Jasson's forehead was tangled as he adjusted his necktie, and when he got pissed, he took it off and threw it on his bed, which his sister Anastacia caught up with.
“You should get married so you have someone to fix your necktie,” Anastacia teases Jasson as she picks up the tie and approaches her brother. She knew that Jasson didn't usually wear a necktie, even in the office. Her brother has no patience for wearing that piece of clothing, except during his relationship with Lucy, who was his necktie fixer.
“You should dress nicely because I have a surprise for you,” she said as she put the necktie on him and handed him his black suit.
But instead of asking, Jasson just nodded while wearing the black suit. “Thank you,” he responded, frowning.
The two attended Peter Ross's wedding together. However, instead of heading to the function hall, they went straight to the chapel at the back, where the wedding ceremony would be held. Jasson felt bored as the wedding ceremony went by. And the moment the priest said, 'You may kiss your bride' to the couple, he stood up and proceeded to the function hall.
“You, Kuya? When do you plan to get married?” Martin asked Jasson as he watched the newlyweds dancing in the middle of the reception hall. (Kuya means big brother).
Jasson sighed and picked up the goblet lying on the table in front of him. Ignoring his brother’s question.
“Maybe Kuya is still waiting for his future wife to grow up,” Anastacia replied and smiled meaningfully at her brother. “Samara, here!” Suddenly, Anastacia waved her hand and called a name, which made Jasson a bit taken aback from drinking his wine because of the name his sister had mentioned. He turned around to see who Anastacia had called and was surprised to see the young girl from the island.
“I talked to Ms. Mara to let Samara have her vacation here. She just arrived this morning, so I told her to come here,” Anastacia announced as she stood up to greet the girl.
“Ate Stacy, I miss you!” Samara exclaimed as she reciprocated Anastacia's hug. (Ate means elder sister, pronounced as ah-teh).
“I missed you too! You've grown up, Ara!”
“I'm already fourteen, Ate,” Samara answered cheerfully.
“I know. But you're tall for your age.”
“Yeah, Ara. I almost didn't recognize you. How are you?” Martin said as he stood up to greet the young lady.
Samara stared at the man for a moment, and when she recognized him, she approached Martin with a wide smile.
“Kuya Martin! I haven't seen you for so long!” She recalled the last time they met was on his honeymoon in Isla Lutherio with his wife, Lucy, five years ago.
“It's good that you still remember me, Ara. Your Ate Lucy is there with Martina.” Martin pointed to the long table where his family was with the others.
“Then why are you three doing here? Is there a World War III?” Samara asked, shifting her gaze to Anastacia. Martin and Anastacia laughed out loud.
“Because someone here is upset,” Anastacia replied with a smile before glancing at their elder brother, who was back facing them. Samara's gaze followed whom Anastacia was referring to. And her wide smile widened even more when she saw the familiar build of a man.
“Master!” Samara screamed and rushed at her master. She hugged him from behind and kissed his cheek.
Jasson's expression darkened as he faced Samara. “We just talked last week. Why didn't you say you were going on vacation here?” he interrogated.
Samara pulled the chair beside him and sat down. “It’s not a surprise anymore if I tell you about it, Master. And besides, I'm not sure that mama and papa will agree.”
Jasson’s face slightly calmed down, but his jaw clenched when he observed Samara’s clothes. He took off his suit and laid it on her back to cover her exposed skin.
“You are showing too much skin, Ara,” he commented and turned to his younger sister with sharp eyes. “She's too young for that kind of dress, Stacy. I hope you dressed her more modestly,” he preached to her.
Taking a moment to suppress the threatening smile, Anastacia glanced at Samara, who did not hear her brother's sentiments due to engrossment in watching the wedding program.
Samara, in her silky purple plunging neckline long dress, is not to be mistaken for fourteen years old. She has a good posture for her height of 5 feet 5 inches and slender frame. She also has golden-tanned skin, which ladies with pale complexions envy.
“You are too overprotective, Kuya. You aren’t like that with us, are you?” a goofy smile flashed on Anastacia's lips as Jasson's forehead furrowed even more; she even caught him, avoiding her gaze.
“But the dress you made her wear doesn't suit her age.”
Anastacia, or Stacy for short, couldn’t suppress her laughter. She laughed out loud, which caused her to get the guests' attention at nearby tables.
Samara leaned over to see Anastacia, but Jasson's quick hand pulled her back and inclined her back in the chair. His eyes didn’t leave the young lady, “You're not an eight-year-old kid anymore, Ara,” he warned her.
Samara was obviously confused by what Jasson said while looking at her. But when she looked down where she saw him glimpsed– on her chest, she just said an “ah” and then adjusted the neckline of her dress.
“Kuya is right, Samara. You are no longer the child we played with, so be careful with your every move. You didn't know you had a pervert with you,” Jasson sighed at Anastacia's term. He wanted to hit her head, but why was he affected? He’s not an asshole. He ignored the two again and just resumed drinking.
After half an hour, they also moved to the long table where their other siblings and their families were. Anastacia and Samara approached the children and played with them. Out of boredom, Jasson decided to leave the reception. After all, the after-party seems to be over as well.
“Kuya, take Ara with you!” Stacy chases after him after saying goodbye to their siblings and parents. (Kuya means big brother, Ate means big sister, read as a-teh)
Jasson was frowning when he turned to his sister.
“Can she stay with you for a week or two? I will be in Singapore, and no one will look after her.” Stacy replied to the question that could be read in his brother's eyes.
“Wait. You invited Ara on vacation, and now you're leaving her with me. When else have I been a babysitter, Anastacia?” There was anger in his voice, but Anastacia ignored it.
“Since you met Samara? Come on, Kuya. I don't want to leave her alone in my condo.”
“Ate Stacy, it's okay, I can manage. I am grown up now. I can take care of—” Samara butted in, but Jasson interrupted her words.
“Say goodbye and follow me in the car,” he said, turning his back on them.
The two were silent as the vehicle drove on the road. Samara sighs whenever she sees her master’s biceps tighten whenever he maneuvers the steering wheel. Samara sat straight and…
“Master, if you don't want me in your house, I'm fine in Ate Stacy's condo. I already know how to cook, so I will not starve.”
Jasson did not answer, so she decided to keep quiet again. But then…
“Is this what Manila looks like? I've only seen it in the picture and on G****e before,” she exclaimed in uncontrollable admiration as she looked around the streets. And when she saw the billboard ahead of them…
“OMG! That's Daniel Matsunaga, Master! Isn't he?”
Jasson’s nerves twitched when he clenched his jaws as he peeked at the billboard of the model that Samara was referring to. That Daniel Matsunaga's body was out in his open black tuxedo and a black branded boxer.
Suddenly, he felt the urge to ask someone to dispatch that billboard!
“Daniel's really sexy! Did you see his abs, Master? As in, it was great!”
“I'm alone in the mansion. I have my on-call servant. I'll let them stay in while you're there so you can have someone with you when I'm not home,” Jasson said, off-topic.
“I'm really fine if I'm in Ate Stacy's condo, Master. We can go there, can't we? You can just drop me in front of the building.”
“You are still a minor, Ara. Your mama and papa entrusted you to us, so we are responsible for you.”
“But– I don't want to be a nuisance.”
“Just behave, Ara.”
Samara turned to face the kitchen door when she heard footsteps coming and sighed as she saw that Jasson was there, half-naked. He was wearing sweatpants, and his muscular body was glistening with sweat. His hand was busy wiping his wet hair with a white towel.Samara was unconsciously drooling over her master’s perfect torso and was startled when her master greeted her.“Good morning. You're awake.”“G-good morning, Master.” She immediately looked away and faced what she was cooking. “You're up. I thought you were still asleep, Master,” she added.“Before sunrise is my wake-up time to jog around the village.” Jasson leaned over to peek at what Samara was doing.Samara panicked because Jasson is on her right back and just inches away from her. She held her breath when she smelled the mint coming from his mouth as he speaks. She used to see him half-naked and almost
Jasson closed his eyes tightly as the whiskey he was drinking landed in his throat. He slowly lowered the glass, which created a noise over the counter. For some inexplicable reason, he is currently in the exclusive bar and has been like this for a few nights now. “Hi…” a soft voice said, and warm breath hit his neck, but he ignored it. “Alone, huh?” The woman at his side took the whiskey that should have been his. She sniffed it and then brought it to her sexy lips to sip. “You can't enjoy the night alone, handsome,” she said seductively. Her full breasts, whose cheeks were already exposed due to the deep groove in her v-neckline dress, were practically touching Jasson's right arm. Heretofore, he would probably heat up immediately in this kind of situation; now, he could no longer understand himself. He feels that he is already impotent or can no longer have sex. And it only started that night. Damn it! Jasson glanced at the woman. He knew the lady. Daisy Rosie is a famous actre
“GOOD MORNING, MASTER. These are the documents you needed to sign,” Jasson’s new secretary said as she entered his office. She came near his office table and placed it in front of him.Jasson’s jaw tightened, but he just ignored her. He waited for his secretary to leave, but she remained standing in front of his desk.“Yes, Miss Ebasitas?” he commented without glancing at her.Jasson furrowed as his secretary put her hands on the table and leaned forward. “Do you have anything else?” he asked.“You look tired, Master,” her secretary responded in a seductive voice. She bent, even more, causing the cheek of her breast to slightly protrude from her red blouse with the zipper down to the middle of her chest.Jasson simply shook his head and returned his attention to the papers. But his secretary was dead set on doing what she wanted: seducing Jasson. The woman stood up straight and slowly walked towards his back. She put her hands on his shoulders, leaned forward, and intentionally presse
SAMARA looked around the entire mansion. Today is the day of her flight to India. She seems to have been oblivious to the passage of time lately. She even prayed that her 10th-grade year would never end.But it’s just like that. Not all wishes are granted by fate. Instead of slowing down, progress seems to be speeding up every hour. She didn’t realize that she had already moved up from junior high. And she had to leave the island she grew up on.She didn’t know if she would ever come back here or if this would be the last time she would see the beauty of the mansion and the entire island. She looked up at the magnificent staircase in front of her. It was carpeted in crimson, and at the top of the step were new satirs on either side leading to the rooms. There are five guest rooms on the third floor in addition to the twelve rooms occupied by the Luther brothers on the second floor. And the size of each room is no joke. She was the daughter of the Luthers’ female butler and driver, but
“Nice meeting you, Miss Ruth,” Samara greeted with a wry smile and bowed to the woman.“Please enjoy your breakfast,” she said and turned away.“Ara,” Jasson called out, which made Samara stop.“Why don't you sit here and have breakfast with us?” he invited her.“Huh?”“That's right, hija. Why don't you join us here?” Señora Olivia agreed, and three others followed.Samara hesitantly nodded as she stared at them. She returned to the table and was ready to sit on the chair at the far end. However, Jasson drew the chair next to him. Samara glanced at her young master, and when Jasson gestured for her to sit, she heaved a sigh and occupied the seat beside him.“Have you decided which strand you'll take? What degree do you want to take in college?” Samara turned to face Hannah, who had initiated the conversation.“Wait, strands? Are you in senior high school, Ara?” Ruth groaned in shock when Samara nodded.“How old are you?” “Sixteen, Miss Ruth.”“Oh, you're stature!”“Yes, that's why she
"REALLY, JASSON? You canceled our schedule just to be with that kid. She's just your maid, isn't she?" Ruth's forehead furrowed as she confronted Jasson. But just a few seconds later, her upturned eyes widened when she seemed to infer something from the look Jasson gave her."Oh no! Don't tell me... Jasson, are you out of your mind? She's only sixteen, for God's sake!" "Shut up, Ruth. What's going on in your mind?" Jasson calmly replied, his attention focused on his laptop."My instinct never fails me, Jasson. Is that why you haven't gotten married yet?""I'm not yet ready to marry, Ruth, and that is my reason.""You are not ready? Or she isn't ready yet?"Annoyed, Jasson leaned on the backrest of his chair with his arms folded, before staring blankly at the lady standing in front of his desk. "She's eighteen years younger than me, Ruth. If you see me showing any concern for her, it's because she's no different from the rest of the family. Samara is just like my younger sister," he s
“GOOD EVENING, Señor and Señora,” Samara greeted the couple she met at the dining table. “Good evening too, Hija. It’s good that you have come,” Señora Olivia replied with a smile. “Yes. I’m sorry if I was late, Señora. We had to finish something at the library.” “That’s fine, Hija. Mara informed us that you will be late for tonight. Change now and have dinner with us.” “Yes, Señora.“ Samara turned towards the kitchen, but before she could take a step, she was surprised by the presence of Jasson leaning sideways at the door frame; one arm was folded while the other hand was holding a glass. “M-Master— you’re here,” she commented. The glass's contents were downed by Jasson, who then stood tall. With a gloomy expression, he turned to face Samara after giving his wristwatch a quick glance. “It’s already past seven, Ara. Your class is until five, right?” His cold voice made Samara nervous. “S-sorry, Master. We stayed in the library after the last subject. We need to finish somethin
Samara arrived early in the classroom, but Cristine seemed to arrive earlier when she caught her resting her head on the desk of her chair. "Good morning," she greeted as she went to her seat behind her and sat down. Cristine raised her head and tilted her seat to look back at her. "What's up?" she greeted back. "I am fine." "Hmm." Cristine pulled off her hair, which blocked her face. "Is Kurt still messing with you?" Samara shook her head. "Thankfully, not anymore," she exhaled a sigh of relief. Cristine gives it a thumbs up. "Although they made a deal with Jayson, it's a good thing you didn't accept it because you had no idea what they could do to you," Cristine says. Samara gave a bright and sincere grin and said, "Yeah, I'm really thankful to Jayson. Thank you." She was quite happy when she began to sense a connection with Cristine. As Jayson had said before, Cristine was thoughtful. Simply put, she's not the type of person to pretend to be close to someone they've just met
Samara blinked as the door finally closed. She seemed to have woken up from a deep sleep. Is it just a dream?Did her Master Jasson really kiss her?“Ara, you were only dreaming. What makes you think the master would kiss you?” Samara murmured as she smacked her cheek and grimaced with discomfort from her swat. She was hurt! Means… her eyes widened and touched her lips. And even if she imprints in her mind that she was awake when that happened—she still could not believe it. She closed her eyes and remembered what her master had said before the kiss he had made. Why is he so worried about her? Why did his body tremble so much when he hugged her? And the fear she saw in his eyes. And most of all—why did he kiss her?!Samara could not get up when her alarm clock rang. She only slept for a few hours because she stayed up thinking. But even though she was awake, Samara felt like she was floating in a cloud. She didn't want to get out of bed but finally got up when she remembered that she
JASSON came back and forth inside the conference room as he continued to dial Samara's number. However, after trying a hundred times and still, Samara’s phone couldn’t be reached, he called his housemaid’s number.“Renz, is Ara home?”“Sir, are you not together?”“Damn it, Renz! I am not going to ask you if I was with her!”“S-sorry, sir. S-she is not here yet, so I thought—”Jasson violently grabbed the coat he had taken off earlier and put it on after he hung up the call without saying goodbye.“Where are you going?” Ruth asked, but the response she got was a loud slam of the closing door.At the same time, Jasson called Martin and Mikel to ask them to find Samara.“Relax, maybe she’s just with his friends.”“I called her friends, but they are not with her, Kel, and her phone is fucking unattended!”“Maybe she got stuck in traffic, brother?” and Martin.“If she left the school after Ruth called her, she should be home now. Just find her!” He cut off the call and stomped on the gas p
SAMARA dashed down the stairs to the ground floor. She was panting as she reached the mansion's main door. She brushed her hair with her fingers, calmed herself, and adjusted the strap of her body bag on her shoulder before heading to the garage. She was stunned when she saw her Master Jasson leaning on the driver’s seat door while playing with his keys with his fingers.Jasson turned his gaze toward her the moment he noticed her. “You don't need to hurry, baby.”“You'll be late if I don’t hurry, Master. The road to university and Luther's Empire were opposite. You have to take a U-turn to get to your place. So, if I slow down, you will be late,” Samara explained.Jasson turned to the shotgun seat and opened the door for Samara. “Maybe you forget who I am?” he said after he got in the driver’s seat.Samara raised her brow and said, “You are the CEO, the Boss. And I never forget that. That's why you should set a better example for your employees. If you are always on time, they will be
THE three boys were setting up the desktop computer while Samara searched the bookshelves for books they could use as references. However, Elizha and Cristine seem to have their own world thrilling in their seat.“I really can't imagine! I thought Ara was just too humble when she said she was just a butler's daughter. And what's more exciting, the eldest Luther is the one she serves! OMG! If I were here, I would gladly be a slave too!” Cristine exclaimed.Samara couldn't believe that her friend had such a personality. She knew Cristine for being talkative but not so vulgar.“Hmmm! And you know what? Until now, Ate Gerlie couldn't get over him! She says she didn't see Master Jasson at the exclusive bar where they met anymore. And to think that I've only seen him in magazines in his formal attire, but hell, the garter of my undies loosened when I saw how handsome he is. Then boom! Who would have thought I'd have a chance to enter his house and see him wearing just his swim shorts? My Go
“GOOD morning, baby”Samara came to a halt when she entered the kitchen and saw her Master Jasson standing in front of the gas range, dressed in black jogging pants and a black apron. He was half-facing her, holding the frying ladle in his right hand and the frying pan on top of the stove. She reluctantly went to the fridge to get a carton of fresh milk. Samara was surprised to see her master this morning. She assumed that he would simply drop her off and then return to her condo to join Ms. Ruth. And when she remembered how she had treated him the night before, she couldn't look him in the eyes.“Hmmm, my baby is still mad at me, huh?”Samara gets chilled by the rough yet sexy tone of her master's voice, which made her hands tremble as she accepted the glass he handed her.“I'm not angry,” she denied without looking at him.“Hmmm, just disgusted?” Jasson turned off the stove and faced Samara when he didn't hear an answer. He chuckled as he noticed her pouting in the corner. He crouch
Ruth licked Jasson’s earlobe. “You can still play with me if you're reserved; play with me while she blooms,” she said flirtily as she gently caressed his arm.Jasson was dumbfounded by Ruth’s proposal. He shook his head in disbelief as he removed her playful hand. He maneuvered the steering wheel into the Luther's Empire condotel's basement parking lot and parked it in the space reserved for him. He would just send her to his pad, and he would leave as well to come home to his mansion. He carried Ruth out of the car and walked toward the elevator.“Uhmmm, come on, Jasson. I'm craving for you,” Ruth who was half asleep muttered and caressed Jasson’s broad chest.Jasson sighed as he exited the elevator as the metal door opened and stepped on the lone unit on that floor. He carried Ruth on his shoulder like a sack to be able to put his thumb on the door lock device to open it. Then he continued to the only room in his unit. The light turned on by itself when he entered, but as he reache
