"Okay." She said and I heard a few strides in the background before she put me on the phone with Chad.

"Hey, okay, first, nothing gives you the right to call my mother when you feel like it." He began. Rude much?

I closed my eyes, unable to process the right emotion to feel. Before I could mentally catch up with the fact that he had just kissed me, his hands trailed from my face to my waist. He withdrew his lips from mine so I could catch up with breathing. He buried his face in my neck and kissed it softly. His face continued downwards and he buried it between my chest.

I moved to my left and squeezed myself the huge sized 'pillow' lying beside me. It felt so comfortable and I knew I didn't want to get up for any reason whatsoever. In my subconscious state, I remembered that I wasn't home, and that the pillow was none other than Chad. I snapped my eyes open and sat up instantly.

I shook him in fear. Although I hadn't done anything to him, I knew I was the only one taunting a sick man and if anyone found out what had happened, they would have me to blame for his accident. "You have to wake up!" I shook his shoulders even tougher than before. "Come on, you can't be so stupid!" I frowned.

“Where are you going?” Chad had the audacity to ask as he followed behind me while I headed down the steps. I glared at him and shook my head at his sense of humour. He must have thought of me as more of a dummy than I had expected.

“Rebecca what are you doing?” I retreated from her, my eye wide open in shock I had no proper reaction because it was utterly unexpected and my brain was still trying to understand what had happened and of course she had to take it the wrong way.“I see you are speechless, that means you are all in, huh?” she came even closer than before and pulled me loser to her face with a firm grip on my neck and that was all I really needed to snap back to my senses. “What on earth are you doing?” I raised my voice, harshly slapping her hands off of me, I did not care less if I was supposed to respect her but she was being disrespectful and nothing pissed me off more.

Nikki was curious to know what the outcome of my conversation had been but I was more keen on dismissing her. I wanted to spend time with her and even force her to stay overnight but if I had to deal with my Rebecca situation before it was too late, I knew that now was the right time."She is predictable, she said she wanted to say hello because she was passing by." I rubbed the back of my neck, knowing how obvious that was if a lie.She crossed one leg over the other and raised one suspicious eyebrow at me. "Chad...""Nikki, just ignore her please." "You look like you can really use some of that."She didn't say anything in response, successfully making me further uncomfortable."I'm sorry." ChadI panicked internally as Nikki directed the security man to let Rebecca in. I was getting mad beyond my capacity as how inconsiderate Rebecca was being especially since we had just had met in my office only a few hours ago. I thought if she pissed me too far, I would give ahead to press charges on privacy invasion without hesitation."I'm not going to allow her into this house." I focused on my reality one more time and cut in with Nikki and the patient man still standing there, waiting for my decision. "Whatever it is she wants, I'll go speak to her myself." I said, turning around to meet Nikki's gaze and on seeing the frown that she had, I immediately went to her side and gave her a small kiss on her forehead."I'm sorry." I said when I pulled away, "don't worry about anything, I know how to feel with this." I assured her and looked up at the man, "come on."I left her slipping into
