Wednesday arrived and it was the day that Ashley had to attend for a hearing with the committee of judges for the competition. The hearing was held to decide on whether she could keep her award or otherwise.

Seated behind in the car next to Nikolai, Ashley was looking out the window and thought about what she had discussed with Finley and his boyfriend Dave. Dave found a way to help her deal with the DNA test to prove Teddy was Nikolai’s son. But, it proved to be a difficult favour to be done with.

Nikolai was on the phone talking to his men on business matters. As usual, he spoke in his native language thinking that Ashley would not understand about the business he was running.

And one of the conversations was on how to deal with the matter Ashley had caused with Antonio’s son. Ashley had caused Antonio’s son to be permanently unable to walk again. A cost that Nikolai had to pay for the damage Ashley had caused few nights ago at the highway.
