“I stated I clearly such as you. It felt excellent to be sincere,” I answered, feeling apprehensive but relieved.

He checked out me significantly for a moment. “I’m satisfied you have been sincere along with her. It shows you know what you want.”

I smiled at him, feeling warm temperature unfold in my chest. “I do realize what I want, and I want to explore this with you.”

He leaned closer, his eyes looking mine. “I want that too. I’m actually glad we’re taking this step together.”

As the movie played on, we sat in comfortable silence, our palms inching nearer together. Eventually, our fingers brushed, and I felt a jolt of strength.

Jake intertwined his fingers with mine, and my heart raced. I couldn’t help but lean closer, resting my head on his shoulder.

“Is this okay?” he asked softly.

“More than ok,” I murmured, feeling content.

The movie faded into the background as we were given lost in every other. I felt secure and loved, like I had ultimately discovered a place where I belonged.

As the credits rolled, Jake turned to me. “Want to look at every other one?”

“Sure! But can we make a few popcorn first?” I cautioned, feeling playful.

He laughed. “Absolutely! Let’s do it!”

We both were given up and headed to the kitchen, laughing and joking as we organized the popcorn. The atmosphere felt mild and amusing, and I couldn’t forestall smiling.

While the popcorn popped, I grew to become to him, feeling formidable. “So, what’s your preferred film?”

He regarded considerate. “I’d have to say whatever that makes me laugh. I love a terrific comedy.”

“Me too! We need to have a comedy marathon sometime,” I said, feeling excited on the idea.

“Definitely! I’d love that,” he answered, his eyes sparkling.

When the popcorn become ready, we returned to the sofa, both folks with massive bowls in hand. The next movie commenced, and I settled lower back towards him, feeling at peace.

As the movie played on, I felt a wave of gratitude wash over me. I became happy to be here, sharing those moments with Jake. It felt proper.

A short while into the movie, Jake leaned down, his lips brushing in opposition to my ear. “I truly such as you, you already know?”

I turned to stand him, feeling my heart flutter. “I like you too, Jake. A lot.”

He smiled at me, and I could see the warmth in his eyes. “I’m satisfied we determined every different.”

With that, he leaned in and kissed me softly. I melted into the kiss, feeling each ounce of my worries fade away. It changed into simply us in this second, and everything else didn’t depend.

As we pulled away, I felt breathless. “Wow,” I whispered.

“Wow indeed,” he echoed, his expression mirroring mine.

We each smiled, and I knew that this became just the start of something lovely. I couldn’t wait to peer wherein this adventure might take us, hand in hand.
