The intense confrontation between Colette and Nicole suddenly came to a halt.

In that brief moment of distraction, Colette's face was slashed, leaving a long bloodstain.

The wound was deep, and blood quickly began to flow.

However, Colette seemed oblivious to the pain. She forcefully pushed Nicole away and looked at Cole. "What did you just say?"

Cole pointed to the television. "I saw the news just now. It's Dad. He's been covered with a white cloth and taken away. Take me to him!"

Colette pushed Cole away and turned to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth watched the TV with a pale face. She seemed mentally absent.

"Colette, Dad and I stayed at the hotel for a long time last night. He suddenly left. He said he wanted to do something interesting to change his fate. Do you know where he went? Where is Fort Town? Why would Dad go there?"

Cole bombarded her with questions, but Colette seemed not to hear any of them.

All she did was stare at the television with a look of fear in her eyes.
