Chapter 99: Innocent Look in the eye

The head doctor opened his drawer and brought out a small medication in a box. He picked up a syringe and placed it on his desk. He put on his overcoat and placed the syringe and medication into his pocket before exiting his office and heading for Ana's ward.

Upon getting to Ana's ward, he looked around as he entered. Ana who had been abandoned to the room with no medical attention turned to look at the doctor. The doctor stopped in his steps and looked at Ana. He was just an arm stretched away from Ana's bed.

"What is wrong with me?" Ana asked in a low voice. "Since I was brought here, no one had come into this room to attend to me aside from a woman who brought me food. What is happening?" she asked.

The doctor stood there looking at her. Something broke inside him hearing Ana's voice with the look in her innocent eyes. He walked towards Ana's bed and examined her. Her pulse was weak. He pressed the bell and other medical doctors entered.
