Chapter 137: The Aftermath of War

"Ragnor would take care of her. I am not leaving you again," Nyota said and hugged George. "We both did this together, and we will pay the price together," she said.

George made room for Nyota on the sofa to lie down next to him. He managed to keep a straight face despite the pain he was going through trying to move. Nyota smiled and lay down in front of him in the space he had made and he wrapped his arms around her finding comfort in each other, as well as keeping each other warm. The cold wind blew in from the window, whose glass had been shattered by Ragnor on his way out. The whole room was a complete mess.
