Chapter 145: We were Attacked

Ragnor was in the palace when he sensed something strange in the air but he had already gotten word that Siku and Maddox had left the city so where was this coming from?

In the hideout, Siku thought of a plan. She tore her clothes and gave herself knife wounds. She came out of her hiding place and lay down on the ground just a distance away from the outer gate. She lay there for hours until one guard moved to check why the two guards at the gate were not responding. He saw Siku lying there and quickly rushed to her side. Recognizing her, the guard hesitated but seeing her condition, he carried her into the City. He sent her to the clinic and quickly went to inform Ragnor about it.

"My king," the guard said bowing first.

"I found Princess Siku, lying on the ground a couple of distances away from the outer gate, unconscious. Her clothes were torn and she was wounded," the guard reported.

"Who else was with her?" Ragnor asked calmly.
