Chapter 117: The hunt for Siku

Ragnor smiled as he drove out of Jessica's compound back to his apartment. Not only did he cleverly get rid of Jessica, he got paid for doing that.

Ragnor returned to the apartment and Clara welcomed him in. She managed a smile as she still felt like she was a burden to him.

"Still thinking about what we discussed earlier?" Ragnor asked with concern but she just looked at him in silence.

"Okay, you will come with me wherever I go, so we can be each other's keepers. What do you think about that? You protect me, I protect you?" Ragnor suggested trying to get her mood up.

"I like it," Clara replied and managed a smile.

"It is done then; we take a flight to Matara tomorrow," Ragnor said.

Ragnor didn't want Clara to find out Jessica had been taken away. So the best will be to move away from the environment.

"I think a family get-together would not be a bad idea," he added and wrapped his hands around Clara's shoulder and led her out of the house to the poolside.
