Chapter 9: Preparations Before the Meeting

“My God. Yan, your fiancée is so ferocious. She took actions without any hesitation. She doesn’t look like a cowardly girl at all, but more like a shrew. We may be cheated by her appearance.” The handsome man said, looking at Bai Aoxue with fear.

“Ha-ha. It’s fun, isn’t it? A wild cat with sharp claws is more fascinating than a docile white rabbit.” Jun Yeyan looked at Bai Aoxue and said with a smile. His voice was as mellow as vintage wine.

“Lunatic. You are all lunatics. Don’t regret when you are beaten by her in the later time.” The handsome man said while looking at Jun Yeyan with inconceivability.

Following slowly behind the waiter toward the private room, Bai Aoxue squinted into another private room which was adjacent to the street on the left side.

She never doubted her vigilance. The probing eyes were from that private room.

In the private room, Bai Aoxue told the waiter to serve all the restaurant’s signature dishes.

“Eat what you like. We can take actions with a full belly.” Bai Aoxue said while looking through the window at the direction of the Fifth Prince Mansion, as if she was thinking of something.

Mumian couldn’t wait to taste the food.

Bai Aoxue had the first dinner slowly after she was teleported into this world, sighing in her heart.

“Miss, are we going back now?” Mumian’s voice broke her train of thought.

“Mumian. You take me to the biggest pharmacy in the imperial capital first.”

Then they quickly entered the pharmacy without delay. Luckily, Bai Aoxue bought the drugs she needed and then went back to the prime minister mansion with Mumian.

In the Drunken Moon restaurant, the handsome man asked with confusion: “Yan, why don’t we follow them and have a look?”

Gazing at the receding back of Bai Aoxue, Jun Yeyan said with a smile: “I’ll meet the wild cat again. It won’t take much time.”

After doing some washing at the courtyard at the prime minister mansion, Bai Aoxue told Mumian to go to rest.

After taking out the drugs she bought at the pharmacy, she began to refine some ordinary poisonous pills.

Few people in the preceding world knew her another identity besides Alluring Sura. As a magic physician who treated patients according to her mood, her prowess at refining poisonous pills was superb. After a long time, a sound came over from Mumian’s room. She dashed into the room, and fell on the bed, pretending she was asleep.

“Miss, it’s time to get up.” Mumian came in with a tub.

Bai Aoxue got up from bed and began to wash her face after hearing it.

It was strangely quiet today. Nobody came to the courtyard to bother her.

She knew that Bai Qiwei’s words worked. She made plans in her heart secretly.

“Mumian. I want to have a rest. I’m tired in the two days. Don't wake me up if there is nothing important.” she said to Mumian when it was dark.

When Mumian assented, Bai Aoxue went back to her room. She found the nocturnal clothing altered by herself and put it on.

After she pulled up the back window and saw nobody outside, she quickly left.
