The incident that had just happened had Nessa’s ex written all over it. I wasn’t too sure but I guessed he would come for someone else close to her since I warned him against doing something to Nessa or her child.

He wasn’t thinking straight trying to go against my words. It didn’t matter whether he did it directly or not. Hurting Ellie was hurting Nessa. Maybe he didn’t get the warning I sent to him the last time. I didn’t mention anything to Nessa and Ellie. I just stood there thinking of what to do next.

I got back into my car when Nessa said she was going to take care of it from there. I didn’t give a fuck about her best friend, but this wasn’t about her best friend. It was about Benjamin trying to disrespect me.
