Chapter 30: Rekindling

How have you been Sarah" Lillian asked not minding the sarcastic reply she received.

"I've been good" Sarah gave a short reply.

Lillian knew Sarah was vexed about whatever had happened 3years ago and she wouldn't blame her for expressing herself in this manner.

"Sarah, am sorry. I just needed to be alone for sometime I just needed my peace to gather my thought." Lillian

"You know, I thought we were sisters. I thought we moved past the friends kind of relationship. But NO you never took me as your sister. Because if yh did you wouldn't have left like you did." She paused seeing that she's was getting emotional.

"You wouldn't hide from me, you wouldn't wait so long to talk to me again Lillian," she continued tear rolling down her beautiful face.

Lillian couldn't stop the tear that slipped down her face, she moved to her and hugged her.

Lillian's heart sank as she saw the pain reflected in Sarah's eyes. Taking a deep breath, she reached out and gently touched Sarah's hand.
