“Don't listen to this ugly freak! She’s trying to set me up. I didn’t push her at all.

Preston, don’t believe her.” Rhea glanced at her friends in the crowd, and they immediately caught on to what she was trying to say.

“I can prove that Luna intentionally jumped into the water. I was nearby when it happened. Miss Evans didn’t push her,” one of Rhea’s friends chimed in.

Someone in the crowd tutted. “Luna really has no shame. She would do anything to get what she wanted. She even jumped into the water and accused someone of pushing her.”

Preston's face turned livid. Did Luna really jump into the water on her own, or was she pushed?

Luna’s voice was gentle, and there was an undercurrent of fragility in it as she muttered, “I’m not lying to you, honey. Rhea really pushed me. I... I’m cold.”

Despite the icy expression on Preston's face, Luna felt no fear.

She adopted a coquettish tone as she continued, “Honey, don’t you believe me? I get that Rhea is beautiful and that you find my looks
