Although Mark didn't complete his sentence, Natalie knew what he meant.

Following his lead, she quickly added, "Yes, Josh. We still need to respect the Sullivan family's practices. My family members don't like revealing our names.

"If I were to reveal his name to you, I'm afraid Dr. Sullivan wouldn't be pleased when he comes out of the room. I'm sure Grandpa wouldn't want to upset his lifesaver."

Natalie stared at him earnestly.

Joshua didn't say anything in response to that. His expression shifted subtly.

It was hard to tell whether he believed Natalie's words or not.

Taking advantage of Joshua's silence, Natalie cast a subtle glance in Mark's direction, indicating for him to leave.

His words had temporarily rescued her from an awkward situation. However, it would be better if no one knew she was acquainted with Mark. In fact, she was rather upset that Mark had spoken impulsively.
