Shawn calmly continued, "But Grayson Corp is the largest pharmaceutical company in Oceanville."

His casual remark plunged Natasha's already troubled mood further.

She couldn't help mocking herself. "You'd probably hate me if you were the Graysons, wouldn't you? I could have helped the Graysons, but instead, I'm watching them go broke."

Besides, she was technically the Graysons' daughter-in-law. That was ironic.

"You did the right thing. Don't beat yourself up, " Shawn said.

Natasha's mind reeled as she murmured, "Really?"

It sounded more like she was asking herself. She was uncertain of her own thoughts.

The car sped along, soon arriving at the entrance of Imperial Heights.

Natasha looked out the window and saw that the weather had unexpectedly turned sunny. The sky that had once been dark was now a clear blue. There were no clouds in sight.

She stepped out of the car. The wind brushed against her face, bringing a sense of coolness. "The weather is really nice now."
