"Let's not beat around the bush, shall we?" Malcolm said. As EngenCorp was significantly impacted, he intended to get straight to the point.

"Alright, I've brought the contract we signed previously," Natasha said, taking out the contract from her bag and placing it on the table.

She flipped to the fourth page. "Given the current situation, it's very likely that the fourth item here, which is the expected funding, may not be feasible."

"Yes." Malcolm sighed helplessly. "I never expected Joshua to directly attack the Toussaint family, and so ruthlessly on top of that. By doing so, he's basically burning bridges with EngenCorp."

Natasha remained expressionless. "Joshua has always been like this. Have you tried contacting him? Did you ask him if there's a chance we could talk this out?"

She knew that given Joshua's character, there was no turning back once he made a decision. Asking Joshua would probably be futile. Nonetheless, she still wanted to try.
