Chapter 96: Inferno of Destruction

The morning after my announcement dawned ominously still, a foreboding calm that made every hair on my neck stand on end. I could feel it in the air—a storm was brewing, and Gabriel was at its center.

Suddenly, a deafening explosion rocked Silverwood Falls. I bolted upright, my heart pounding in my chest as screams and shouts erupted from outside. Gabriel had launched his attack.

I raced out of the town hall, my family member Alexander hot on my heels. The sight that greeted us was one of pure devastation. Buildings were engulfed in flames, and panicked residents were fleeing in all directions. Gabriel’s monstrous creatures, those twisted by his dark magic, were wreaking havoc, tearing through the town with a ferocity that sent chills down my spine.

“Emily! Over here!” Nathanial’s voice cut through the chaos. He was directing a group of townspeople towards the safety of the woods, fighting off creatures with the help of the werewolf clan.
