Chapter 2: Transfer
Zaina POV
“No! I want her to riot in jail; she nearly killed our children! Dean, she’s dangerous, and I want her out now!” I just listen to the useless things they say.
Nearly killed, huh?
“Ma’am, calm down.” The dean tried to Calm them all down. If looks can kill, I’m technically dead right now because of the deadly stares they were throwing at me. I just blankly stared at them.
“But dean! She sends 10 students to the hospital, and don’t you remember they are all part of the cheering squad of this school!” One of them said again, to which everyone agreed.
This is useless; why am I here again?
“Put her in jail!”
“Kick her out!”
And what so ever.
Dean massages his forehead because of the situation; well, their freaking voice is damn indeed irritating.
“Please Quiet!” Dean shouted, which made them all stop talking. The Dean looked at me.
“Miss Jones, did you really do that?” He asked me.
Seriously, is he asking me that stupid question? Why doesn’t he watch the CCTV video? I’m sure there are CCTV cameras in that room. I just shrugged my shoulders, which caused the parents of the bitches who are now in the hospital to make noise again.
“See? She’s a bully!”
I let out a sigh of boredom and stood up; they were all silent and stunned. Huh? I just showed a sly smirk. They had the guts to shout and teach me, but they were afraid of me.
I looked at the dean.
“You can dismiss them now. I’m out.” I finally said and started walking away while holding my coat that was slung over my shoulder.
They just stared at me as I walked out of the dean’s office.
What a life.
“Miss Jones, wait!” I looked behind me, and I saw the dean chasing after me; I stopped walking and faced him.
He gave me a piece of paper, what is this? I accepted and looked.
School form? Enrolment form? I was so confused, so I looked at him.
“If you’re interested, you can go and enrol. I think you are fit in that school.” He speaks.
I looked again at the paper I was holding. Colter Academy. This school doesn’t ring a bell to me or maybe I just forgot about it.
I looked at the dean and nodded. I walked towards my Ducati parked in the parking lot. Before I left, I gave a short nod, and he nodded back.
I go to my house and park my Ducati in the garage. My house is a huge one, but I am the only one who is living here. I went straight to my room and lay down on the bed.
I closed my eyes and let myself fall asleep. When I woke up, it was midnight. I got out of bed, went out of my room, and went into the kitchen. I was so freaking hungry I opened my refrigerator and got some food to eat.
After I ate my food, I went back into my room. I saw the folder given by the dean. Should I go to that school? I reached for it and read it again.
I see nothing wrong with it, but I sense that there is something about that school. It makes me so curious, and the thrill is there. I smirked.
I love the thrill. That’s my middle name.
I wish no one would notice me there and trigger my dangerous side.
Well, let’s see what kind of school this school is going to be tomorrow when I get there.
I slowed down my car when I saw a tall and huge gate in front of me. I got out of my car to look at it in full. What is this place? Is this the gate of the Colter Academy?
I take a look at the upper part of the gate
‘Colter Society’ is written in big bloody red lettering. I thought it was Colter Academy. This is confusing me.
Eventually, the gate gradually opened, and I saw more than ten men come out. They were carrying guns.
Oh?
“Who are you?” One of them seriously questioned me. I assumed their leader. I stood up straight and they immediately pointed a gun at me.
This is great! Yeah fucking great.
“Don’t move! Stay where you are!” I looked at them all blankly.
Don’t move my ass.
“Don’t move.” He ordered again, but I stepped once.
“I will ask you again! Who are you?”
Even if I say who I am, will they believe me? I bet not. I stepped twice again.
“Don’t move, I warned you.” This is really great.
“Put all your guns down. She’s Miss Jones, the new student of Colter Academy.” A Lady said.
They all looked at that woman and immediately lowered the guns they had pointed at me earlier.
“Pardon us, Miss White and Miss Jones, we don’t know.” Their leader said. The lady nodded and looked at me.
“Welcome to Colter Society, Miss Jones.”
I didn’t speak, and I just stared at her. It looks like I am going to stay here for too long; I’m not informed. Anyway, I’m always ready.
“Go back into your car and drive. Just follow my car, the white one. I’ll show you where the Colter Academy is located.” I nodded in response to what she said.
I got back in my car and drove into the Colter Society. When I entered the gate, I saw a white car, which was, I assume, her car. I followed her car. All I can see around are trees until …
I saw tall and huge buildings, Houses and wide lots. Then, the realisation hit me: Colter Society is the twin city of Colton Society, the place where I came from.
This place is more powerful and more advanced and yet it’s more dangerous than Colton Society. Well, as I said last night, I love the thrill.
While driving, I saw a big mansion; it was a bit far but obviously very large and isolated from other households.
We drove for over an hour; why is that school too far? I saw the white car I was following gradually stop so I stopped as well.
She sighed for me to go out, so I did; I walked closer to her.
“This place is part of the Colter Academy. This is the school dormitory. That one is for the boys.” At the same time, she pointed to a large building to our right.
“And that’s for the girls.” Then she pointed to the left side.
“Almost all of the students live in dormitories, but some of them have their own houses here. So, Miss Jones, which do you prefer? A dormitory room or a house?” She asked me.
“A house.” I sparingly answer. I don’t want to live in a dormitory.
“Very well then, Follow me.” She said and started walking into the building that was between the boy's and girls' dormitory.
“Jane!” A lady greeted her with a wide smile on her face.
“Kayley!” Jane greeted back.
I see they know each other. The lady named Kayley looked at me.
“Look what we have here … The new girl of Colter Society.” I just looked at her blankly. The smile disappeared from her lips, and the expression on her face was serious.
Suddenly, she pulled her gut out and pointed it in to my forehead. Really what’s wrong with her? I remained calm while looking at her.
She smiled again and lowered her gun.
“She’s unique.” She commented.
What the hell what was that?
Chapter 3: New GirlZaina Amara’s POV“She’s Unique.” She spoke. Miss White laughed at what she said.“I think she’s immune to someone pointing their guns into her head. Rick and his men had done the same earlier, but until now, she had the same expression on her face.”Can they stop talking about me? It looks like I’m not in front of them. Jeez, it's so annoying.“Haha. That’s freaking new, Jane; anyway, new girl, what is your name?” Kayley asked me.“Zaina.” I sparingly answer. She nodded and looked at Jane.“Is she here to get a dormitory unit or a house?” She asked Jane. Why did she ask her when I was just in front of her? Why don’t she ask me instead?“House, she chose the house,” Jane answered.Kayley’s lips form an O shape, and she glances at me.“Woah, that’s freaking new again; a newbie always chose and preferred to live in a dormitory unit to be safe.” She speaks.Okay? I’m not them. I prefer to be alone.“Haha, I’m shocked about that too, but Kayley, hurry up; we still have
Chapter 4: Colter SocietyZaina Amara’s POVI got out of my car and entered a café shop. They all looked at me; what's with the stares, really?I continued walking and ignored them all. They were staring at me like I'm a kind of meat."You're the new girl, right?" A woman asked me."Yeah," I answered and looked at the menu on the front."One cup of cappuccino and one slice of cheese cake," I told her."Dine in or take out?" She asked me again."Take out," I answered plainly."Okay, ma'am, wait a minute." She said, smiling, and prepared my order."Here we go, ma'am." She said and gave me my order.I paid for that and picked up the food that was stacked on the counter. While walking back into my car, I heard a group of ladies murmuring something."Let's see how long she can stay here." I just kept walking out of the Cafe, and I didn't pay attention at all.I was about to get in my car when someone grabbed my shoulder to stop me from getting in. I turned to them and looked at them blankl
Chapter 5: Colter Academy Zaina Amara’s POV The weekend is over, meaning I need to go to school to start my first day at Colter Academy. The class just started three weeks ago, so I think I missed a lot of topics and subjects, but whatever. When I parked my car in the school parking lot, I got out immediately. Almost all of them looked at me as usual, but I ignored them all. I was holding my things; I needed them to put inside my locker. The number of my locker was 666, the evil number huh? “She’s the new girl.” “I heard her punch Blaze.” “She’s a troublemaker.” “Badass.” “I wonder who she is.” And so on. I continued walking while looking for my locker number. 658 660 664 And got you 666 I put my things above the locker and opened my locker. I put my belongings inside. When I closed the door of my locker, I saw a man leaning against the locker door beside my locker. “The new girls are finally here; I can say I’m quite impressed; you are one of the pretty and tough girls
Chapter 6: The VIP guests Zaina’s POV I slowed down my car when I saw more than ten sleek black luxury cars. They were in a row, and all the cars they were meeting went sideward and let those cars move without any stop. Oh? I stopped my car and watched them pass by my car. One car had passed … 2 … 3 … 4 … 5 … 6 … Then, I saw a red Lykan Hyper sports car. What a cool car. That car had already passed, and then seven more black vehicles followed it. I think their boss owned the red car, and I wonder who it would be. A small grin forms on my lips as I start the engine of my car again and U-turn it to follow them. They are going to Colter Academy now, and I think maybe they are the VIP guests. The gate of the school opened wide, and their cars entered while I remained inside my car. I don’t need to go inside to see who the VIP guest is; something will work for me. I went to the backseat of my car and got my drone. I set it up and went out of my car. After I landed the drone
Chapter 7: Ducati Zaina’s POV I passed the situation; I couldn’t believe that I had fooled them, and they believed me. I just smirked as I remembered what had happened earlier. After the guy wearing a black T-shirt left, they all followed him, but before the man wearing a grey tuxedo left, he glared at me and gave me a warning look. I just ignored it and gave him a cold stare in return. How funny isn’t it? I went into my room and lay down on the bed. The first day, I kicked the fuck boy’s bully ego. Secondly, I was given a threat by a teacher, and now I met a Mafia, not just a simple mafia but a Mafia Boss. My day is so great and nice. This is fucking good. I glanced at my wall clock to see it’s passed twelve o’clock already in the afternoon. I’m hungry. I get up from my bed and get off. I went to the kitchen and looked at what was inside my refrigerator. Damn, no food left. I forgot to buy groceries yesterday. I moved away from the refrigerator and closed it. I reached for my
Chapter 8: Not Worth ItZaina’s POVI put my black helmet on my head and start the engine of my motorbike. It’s Tuesday, and I mean to say I have classes again.I drove out of the subdivision where I was living at the moment and headed to Colter Academy. Everyone in the road stared at me when I passed them by.And I don’t fucking like the stare they were giving me; believe me, it makes me feel sick.I arrived at the school parking lot, and when I arrived, I heard the whispers of the students around the area.A little smirk formed on my lips, and I went down from my Ducati. I slowly get the helmet off into my head and then comb my hair using my fingers. Some students in the area are looking at me so carefully as if they can’t believe I’m the one riding the Ducati next to me right now.I put the helmet on the seat of my big bike and started walking into the main building. The main building is connected to all classrooms in this school.I went to my locker and picked up my belongings for
Chapter 9: Match and WatchZaina’s POVI served the ball perfectly, and Ginger Head tried to bring the ball back to us, but she failed. I saw pain flash in her eyes because of the impact of the ball on her wrist.“First point goes to Zaina Team.” Mr. Seven announced. My teammates smiled and cheered for me. The ball came back to me. I served it again, and this time, one of her teammates hit the ball back on us.But one of my teammates was able to bring back the ball on the other side. Then Ginger's head smashed it back on us again. The ball was towards me, so I carefully watched it and hit it back with power. The ball returned to the ginger head, but she succeeded in returning the ball to our place. But one of my colleagues brought the ball back to the other side, so we won the score again.“Nice hit,” I commented to the woman next to me. She smiled and nodded. The game continued until it ended, and guess what? We won the game. Ginger's head glared at me, but I only gave her a cold sta
Chapter 10: The Mansion Zaina’s POV I played with my pen using my hand, spinning it and biting the tip of it. Until this time, I still have in my mind what happened and what I saw this morning. Murdering someone in front of me is not new; I have seen a lot of it before. But why am I still thinking about it? Why? Geez, So weird of me. This class will be my last subject to attend. It’s almost 5:00 in the afternoon, so this boring class will end. When I heard the buzzer ring, I quickly stood up and left. I can’t believe I attended that boring class, but anyway, it’s done. When I came out of the classroom, an egg hit my chest. Just calm down. I looked at who threw the egg, and I saw ginger head and Mr. Fuckboy in front of me. Their companions, who were standing behind them, were holding two trays of fresh eggs. So, this is also part of their stupid and childish revenge, huh? I remained standing in my place while still calmly looking at them. “Let’s see how tough are you, Ms. Tran
Chapter 49: His LifeZaina’s POVIn this world, life is like a game of survival. You need to be brave, wise, and strong to survive. The only difference between life and a real game is… once you die, it’s over. You can’t be resurrected. If you’re lucky enough to stay alive, then move forward and continue living in this chaotic and cruel world. It’s been one week since I woke up. Since that day, I haven’t spoken a single word to him. He’s tried to ask me what happened, why I got stabbed, but I didn’t answer; instead, I remained silent. I just wanted to be alone. I wanted him to leave me alone.I need time to myself; my past keeps flashing back in my mind. It’s bothering me and affecting the way I live now. Why can’t I just forget? I wish I could lose all my memories because of that accident. How I wish…I blankly stare at the horizon as the sun sets. I’m on the terrace of the room I’m staying in, thinking about what will happen next to me. I can’t help but wonder, if he hadn’t taken an
Chapter 48: Death GroundZaina’s POVI was slowly losing blood, and I think in a moment I’ll faint. Damn those men, damn this situation. Damn this life. I just wanted a peaceful life, but why can’t I get that? Why? Why is trouble always following me around?I’m tired, very tired. I want to sleep, but I can’t. I can die this way, right? Not this way. A small sigh escapes my lips as I continue to drive the car. My vision is getting blurred, but I’m fighting against it; I need to stay awake until I reach the mansion.A small smile of hope forms on my lips as I see the mansion; I’m almost there. I need to hold on. Before I can reach the gate of the mansion, a wild deer suddenly crosses the road, causing me to change direction and hit the car against a hard tree.Damn. What bad timing. Because of the impact, my head hits something hard, which causes me to fall asleep. I don’t know if I will be able to survive; I’m losing too much blood and now I’ve hit my head hard. But before I lose consc
Chapter 47: KillingZaina’s POVI’ve been walking for how many minutes now, but still, I can’t find my way back to the mansion. I don’t know if I’m lost or if I just don’t really want to go back. Geez. I glanced at the sky when I saw it’s getting dark; it will rain really hard. What a lucky day.I stopped walking when I heard the sound of vehicles. Oh, I see? I’m close to the road now? I looked around to see where it is coming from.I think this would be a great opportunity to escape, but I won’t do that now; I’ll stay. I have something else to do.I walked toward the road, and luckily, when I got there, I saw a black car approaching. I let out a sigh and signaled the car to stop. I had the thought that the person inside it was a bad person, but… it won’t be a problem for me. I can manage it if he or she is really bad.The car slowly stopped. I looked up when the sky started to roar loudly; it was about to rain.“Hey, do you need some help?”Three men got out of the car. Just upon loo
Chapter 46: ExecuteZaina’s POV“Hey.” I greeted her when I saw her coming closer to me. She smiled and greeted back.“You’re staying with us again?” she asked me. I shook my head and answered no, plainly.“Why? I mean, why don’t you want to stay?” I just shrugged and started to move again to somewhere else that I didn’t know.“Too many reasons,” I answered while looking directly at the long hallway.“Like what?” she insisted on asking me. I glanced at her.“Reasons that I can’t tell to anyone else,” I replied meaningfully.“You are really mysterious. Who are you?” This time I smiled mysteriously.“Just a nobody,” I answered and winked at her. She smiled widely and playfully punched my shoulder.“You really don’t want to tell, eh?” she said and then chuckled. I shrugged my shoulder once again and just smiled.“Anyway, since you don’t want to tell it to me, let’s drop that subject.”That’s better.“By the way, where are you going?” “To somewhere else,” I responded.“Hmm? Are you alrigh
Chapter 45: MissionZaina’s POVI silently get off the bed and start to leave the room. I really don’t know what I should feel right now: hatred or regret?Last night, I gave in. I gave myself to him, but not my heart. I just got carried away by lust. Yeah, I felt something for him, but not in the way he felt towards me.He just confessed that he loves me and that he will never leave me? Why do I feel it was just an empty promise? That he will break his promise soon?I was taught not to trust easily, and that’s the reason why I have trust issues right now. I’m hard to please, hard to trust, show no fear, and am not capable of love.“Stand straight, chin up, and put your hands at your back!” An authoritative voice boomed from the area. The young version of me obeyed what the man told us to do. I’m not scared anymore; I learned to accept the life I have.Three years have passed; the weak version of me is gone. This is the new me: a killing machine, trained to kill, showing no mercy. The
Chapter 44: Cold TreatmentZaina’s POVMy body stiffened at what he said. Don’t leave? He can say that easily as if he didn’t send me to the dungeon last night. His guts really hit my nerves. I remained silent and stopped moving.A silence filled the room. No one dared to speak between the two of us. His eyes were closed, but I knew he was awake. I tried to get his arm off my waist, but he just tightened his grip.“I’m sorry,” he suddenly said. I didn’t respond. Tsk. Silence is a bitch; it hurts more than physical revenge. I stared at the ceiling of the room and continued ignoring him.I heard him take a deep breath before letting go of me. He held my jaw and made me face him, and then I met his eyes. There was too much emotion in them: sadness, longing, guilt… and love?“Please talk to me, baby?” he pleaded, but I remained silent, still. I just stared blankly at him. I didn’t know the King they all knew could be so dramatic. Tsk.“I’m sorry for what I said and did last night. I was j
Chapter 43: DungeonZaina’s POV“Send Pinky to my room tonight, and about the Vesper Mafia, tell them to go back…”“No…”“To the place where they came from.”“Yes…”“Bring her to the dungeon, and don’t you ever bring her anything…”“Just wait for my order…”“Don’t.”“I know what I’m doing.”“Just fucking do what I told you to do!” After that, he smashed his phone on the floor. I had the urge to call his name, but I held back. After a few seconds, a group of men entered the scene, grabbing my arms and dragging me away. I wasn’t naive enough to think I didn’t know what was happening; I was the one he ordered to be put in the dungeon. What now? Did he decide to kill and torture me because he didn’t get what he wanted? How childish.I let them take me away, knowing he was watching. Did he think I would beg him not to take me to the dungeon? Heck, he was wrong. I would never beg—not again. I was done begging for survival and for him to leave me alone.Because of what he was doing right now
Chapter 42: FoundZaina’s POVI immediately opened my eyes, my heart racing. Why did I dream about that again? Why does my past keep haunting me?I forced myself to calm down and turned on the light using the remote control. I let out a sigh and reached for my mask on the table beside the bed. I put it on, along with my hoodie jacket. I needed fresh air at that moment. I got off the bed and stood up, glancing at the wall clock; it was a quarter past eleven in the evening. As I walked down the hallway, I noticed a lot of men in black guarding the place. I knew they had seen me but chose to ignore me, which was good. I didn’t need their attention.I went out to the terrace on the second floor of the mansion. From where I stood, I saw the lights coming from the city below. The Colter society was really huge and beautiful, huh? I looked up at the sky and saw a helicopter approaching.I leaned on the terrace railing, watching as it landed in the wide field in front of the mansion. From my
Chapter 41: SNATCHEDZaina’s POVIn the middle of the night, only the light from the moon illuminated my way out of the place I hated the most. The men holding guns were shouting my name and chasing after me as if I were some kind of wild animal. The day I found out that my foster parents had lied about me, I escaped. I successfully left the dungeon where they had locked me up and tortured me. After four months of being treated like a slave, I finally broke free.I stopped running and hid in a place that I knew they couldn’t find me. I stayed in that narrow and filthy spot for many hours. My whole body felt weak; I badly wanted to sleep forever. But I would never sleep and give up easily.I came out of my hiding place when I saw a big truck parked near me. I quickly approached it and climbed inside. I entered a large box and saw that there was a lot of food inside.Hope filled my heart. I was exhausted and terribly starving. I was tired physically, mentally, and emotionally. I escaped
