Brent growled quietly, turning his head slowly as he felt the weight of numerous narrowed gazes on him. He took a deep breath, rolling his shoulders to release tension and running a hand through his hair. Though the fury still smoldered in his eyes, he seemed to have his aggression under tighter rein.
