Chapter 13: Rogue Alpha

My mind didn't know what to focus on and I just couldn't think straight…especially with Ada standing there with someone's hand wrapped around her throat.

I was seeing red at even the idea of another person putting his hands on her, but then to have them be aggressive as well? I didn't know how I was managing to still be standing.

But for the first time since I shifted my eyes were now on this weird masked rogue.

He had just said something about Ada and had made a second reference inferring that he personally knew me…so why can't I place him? The mask of course was making the identification difficult, but now that I was focusing on him his voice did sound slightly familiar.

If only that damn mask was gone.
