CHAPTER 36: A BOX OF SNAKES

Amelia woke up very early the next morning in order to beat the traffic as there was an annual festival going on and that would cause a very heavy traffic. Doing her chores, Amelia made bacon and eggs for breakfast before going to have her bath and prepare for work. She got on the early morning bus. Little did she know that there was an accident on the road and by the time the bus she boarded was able to beat the traffic it was already almost eight o’clock, so she got to her desk at exactly five minutes past eight. After dropping her things and dusting her desk, she picked up her laptop and the schedule book and summoned massive courage to walk into Nelson’s office. Feeling quite anxious and scared.
