I stood up without hesitation, not wanting to get further entangled with Yana, but she knelt before me.

"Yvonne, I beg you, you can't ruin him."

How was it that my fair competition was considered ruining him?

I had seen shameless people before, but never anyone quite like her. I bent down and looked at her.

"Yana, if you can't bear to see him fail, why don't you use your family's money to support him? The Bridgeton family may not be as wealthy as ours, but it should be more than enough to secure this project, right?"

With that, I walked away, unwilling to waste more time with an idiot.
