CHAPTER 83- The New Alpha

In the silent forest where Magnus resided alone, the night was eerily still. The tall trees stood like guards, their twisted branches blocking the moonlight above. Inside his cabin, Magnus paced anxiously. He felt something was amiss. His heart raced with a feeling of approaching danger. The atmosphere was dense, filled with a chilling energy that made him shiver.

He had always trusted his instincts—they were sharper than any blade. But tonight, those instincts screamed at him, a relentless alarm that something terrible was about to unfold. The unease inside him grew stronger as the moon slowly ascended to its zenith. Its silvery glow pierced through the canopy, casting eerie shadows across the forest floor. Magnus paused, his breath catching as he listened to the night. Then, it came—a howl that echoed across the trees, low and mournful, followed by several more. The gamma wolves were alert, their cries reverberating with urgency.
