We had walked a significant distance, yet we still couldn't find the forest lines surrounded by the streams as directed by the wolf healer. I was almost out of breath, with my body feeling drained. However, I couldn't afford to stop, as Magnus' life was at stake. The darkness fell, and I felt the cool breeze on my skin. The chirping of birds in the forest filled the air. Alpha Callum and I continued walking, wanting to reach the location of the antidote I needed to save Magnus from the poison that was coursing through his veins.

The stars illuminated our path as we journeyed, as there was no moon in sight. Despite their dimness, our keen night vision proved invaluable.

"Are you okay, Lara?" Alpha Callum asked with concern.

"I'm fine, bro. How about you?"

"Don't worry about me, sis. I'm accustomed to walking long distances. It's part of our training," he replied.

"Let's rest for a while," he suggested, as he was worried about me.
