It had become a regular tradition for the Silvercrest Pack to hold a banquet at the villa during the Lunar phase, inviting the Yellow Stone Pack and the Shadow Pack. Amidst the bustling preparations, I pondered the events that lay ahead. But whatever the outcome, I was determined to proceed with my decision to entirely remove Lara from my life. It seemed to be the most rational decision rather than staying together with mutual animosity.

Conflicting emotions stirred inside me as time went on. One part of my mind deemed my decision logical, while my heart opposed it, giving me a warning that it would endanger Lara's life.
