I stayed at my pack's villa for several hours but I requested Alpha Callum not to disclose our conversation with Dad and Mom, afraid that Dad might confront Magnus, leading to turmoil between our packs. I don't want to jeopardize the whole Tribiano over my marital issues.

"How are you getting along with your husband, sweetie?" Dad asked while we were having our lunch.

"Are you certain about that? Tomorrow is the schedule of the full moon, and I hope your husband will finally commit to the mate bond and put you with a red mark," Dad said earnestly.

"Yes, I share the same hope, especially with the potential threat of rogues or vampires attacking the town," Mom chimed in, voicing her concerns, while Alpha Callum remained silent, engrossed in his meal.

"Lara, the significance of fully embracing the mate bond is for both of you to share each other's power and strength to safeguard the packs under your care," Dad explained.
