CHAPTER 119- Benefit of the Doubt

"Do you really trust him that much, dude?" Alex's voice suddenly cut through the air from behind Magnus. Startled, Magnus turned to face him, realizing he hadn't even noticed Alex's approach. He had been so consumed by his thoughts and the weight of his decision that everything else had faded into the background.

"Yes, dude," Magnus replied after a moment of hesitation. He met Alex's gaze directly, his expression resolute. "I saw the sincerity in his eyes. There’s something about Cyrus that feels... genuine.
